I FOUND A FISH BBQ LEGEND IN CAGAYAN DE ORO!!
On this evening and night in the City of Golden Friendship... I head off to check out Cocoy and how his little Coffee Bike business is doing! Along the way, I stumble upon a grilled fish stand by Carmen Market. Exploring Cagayan de Oro at night is always peaceful. The bridge and the city hall give off a beautiful glow...
But not as beautiful as the friendly locals, and Manong Jun. The Filipino fish bbq legend of Carmen market!
Such a wonderful evening eating, drinking, and exploring Cagayan de Oro at night! My first home here in Mindanao!

Thank you so much for this video. We used to “baklay” walk from our boarding house on Lirio St, Carmen going that market for our weekly food. Dili mag sakay motorela ky walay budget mga student me tanan from Bukidnon. Attending Liceo de Cagayan & Cagayan de Oro College. My wife used to do market in CDO early morning where the farmers from bukid can sell their produce on the street. The farmers sometimes gave her extra tomatoes and gulay because we are from QC (kabalo Bisaya gamay lang). When the sun was up, farmers went home bringing with them unsold produce.

I guess there is no Bisaya or Tagalog for the word LEMON. It’s like ICE, no Tagalog or Bisaya for that as well. Good to know the Bike Coffee is still going and nice to see Reina and Eric in your vlog again, regard to them. You are so right, walking is not only good for you but great thoughts are created while walking. I really miss eating inihaw na isda/bangus. Good vibes!😊
