Chase and Shelbs how are you guy's....hope you enjoy where you go in the Philippines.i friendly suggest that every local you meet give them a business card of your course yt channel and hope it will increase your subs.ty
People from the north especially here from the Cordilleras, we would call people like you "cowboy/cowgirl". Who can fit in easily to places they visit, try everything challenging, and not choosy to the food they eat. The energy is a bomb! Ah, this channel def. deserves a lot of sub., like and share. Sending you much good luck and stay safe always.
You are so sweet!! Thank you. We have heard this term before! At first we didn’t understand but now we do haha and that’s exactly how we are. We love to roll with the flow and eat whatever we come across. Thanks again Annie 😍🥰 stay safe too!
Never heard of Port Barton in Palawan, it's always Puerta Princesa, Coron and El Nido. Thanks for taking us there through your vlog! Stay safe and enjoy travelling in the Philippines! 😄
Port Barton is in every Lonely Planet guide book, as the alternative to El Nido. The beach itself is not very pretty. So it must be the package tours that make people rave about the town.
You guys are so amazing 😻 Going to places that are not so touristy. I love how you interact with the locals as well and we filipinos here abroad made our heart genuinely happy. Filipino teacher here in Vietnam 🇻🇳
Thank you 💖 we are so glad we made the stopover! Soooo worth it, we are very happy a lot of Filipinos speak English. It’s easy to communicate and interact with them. 🥰 We are actually in Vietnam now!! How cool 🤩
@@ChaseandShelbs wow! Are you in Ho Chi Minh City or Saigon? That's cool. You would definitely use google translate here in Vietnam since locals are having a hard time speaking English. You should visit Dalat City , Vung Tau or Mui Ne. You can also go to Danang, Hoi An, Halong City and Hanoi
We went to da nang, then hoi an, now we are in hue.. but we are going back to da nang because we love it so much. ☺️ Google translate has been a life saver here haha the English barrier has been super hard! We plan to come back to vietnam to visit other places. We came here for some sunshine and to chill out a bit after the crazy rush of the Philippines hehe! Thanks for the suggestions 🤩
Visiting Port Barton and not going through that dirt road was probably two of the best decisions you've made so far 😄👍. Dalandan is another local citrus it's like a cross between a lime and an orange. Luv yah guys. ❤️🙏
Honest it was so nice there! So peaceful and relaxing and just the overall friendliness. Couldn’t have asked for a better time! 😍 it’s such a delicious citrus fruit!! We approve haha. Love ya too friend 🥰
You guys are really awesome vloggers; my favorites, really! With your unassuming, simple, & easygoing presentation, coupled with your jovial & humorous nature, you should really make travel, food & lifestyle vlogging a career (& maybe, a business?). After all the predatory & exploitative foreign vloggers now infesting the PH, whose only intent is to prey upon the Filipinos' obsession with foreign validation, you two are really a breath of fresh air. Keep on rockin', Chase & Shelbs. Look out world, Hear come the Cowboy & Cowgirl from Canada.
Aw this made us smile so hard!! Thank you so much. We have loved being in the Philippines and going with the flow, enjoying the food, culture, people. It’s been incredible. We could only dream this would be a career! Much appreciated friend. You made our day 😍🥰
There's so many vloggers now in the Philippines, and they pretty much go to the same places doing the same things. But Port Barton I don't think I know of until now, and I've never heard about that falls. This is refreshing . The less touristy the better.
Yes we have seen that! We haven’t heard too many people go to port barton but we are so glad we did! It was wonderful. And we agree less tourist is usually best haha!
I've been there thrice and I love the rural and laid-back vibe of the village. I hope it would remain less touristy. If only the internet is good for me to remotely manage my business in Manila, I'd consider moving and staying there most time of the year.
So amazing you’ve been able to visit too! I can see more people discovering it and it becoming a hot commodity as it’s so nice! But hopefully not lol! We could probably live there too! But yes the internet is not good! 😂🙏🏼
If i'm not mistaken you're the first foreign vlogger who visited Port Barton. I think Port Barton is near the 14.7 kilometers Long Beach at San Vicente , which is actually the longest white sand beach in the Philippines.
@@ELEAByahera Yes there are already hundreds foreign vloggers went there, in fact some even consider their no. 1 spot in Palawan, but of course if you consider the ratio of tourists going there vs Coron and El Nido its about 100 is to 10, because if you are first timer in Palawan you will go to the best locations which are Coron and El Nido and the rest are just stop over if you have enough time to visit just like they did..
What makes me keep watching your vlogs. You both have a great sense of humor and really jolly persons. You both so natural and amazing. You go some places here 🇵🇭 which other foreign vloggers don't. My only suggest is do some more interact with the locals. 👍🏼☺️... Enjoy your adventure here in the Philippines 🇵🇭🇵🇭 we filipinos do really appreciate that...👍🏼☺️🇵🇭
Aw that’s so sweet! Thank you very much! We have interacted with quite a few locals in some of our other videos. We tend to do more of it off camera as well as filming is a little distracting hhaha! But all of the Filipinos we have talked to are so friendly. Some of the friendliest we have ever met 🥰
I work from home, and whenever I feel sleepy, I watch one of your vlogs to energize me. We appreciate your efforts in showcasing how beautiful the Philippines is.
if you want to see where the original chicken inasal came from, please go to Bacolod City. The best chicken in the philippines. Also, should try Cansi among other local authentic food/seafood. There are awesome beaches south of the island too - the previous president loves going snorkeling and scuba diving in Sipalay. If you love sweets, Bacolod/Negros is the sugar bowl of asia at some point in history. Please go. If you live off of other people smiles like you said, Bacolod is the city of smiles. They will welcome you with open arms. Thanks guys, your channel rocks!
Wow thank you so much for all the tips and suggestions. We appreciate it so much. The chicken inasal in the Philippines is so delish! We also loved sweets so that sounds perfect ahha! Thanks again Mel ♥️🙏🏼
Dalandan is a Christmas citrus. Dalandan trees bear fruit in the month of Oct and often harvested in December. It can be eaten like an orange, but best if juiced. The fruit is like a giant calamansi in shape. It produces a lot of vit. C.
Chase and Shelby are the cool uncle and aunt you have but you encounter them in the past before they got married and before you were born. It's the vibe you get about them that makes you wanna find out how they were when they were younger. Cool and fun and down-to earth.
Looks like you guys experienced the non-city life. Where I'm from in the North that's pretty much the life. Roadside BBQ stalls and little shops ran by families. Yes everyone is friendly because we love our tourists! Lol! Glad you're not afraid of the street food. It's guaranteed fresh and juicy! 😋 Love the vids and you guys as always! ❤️
Haha it’s the best! It was so chill and rustic. We had the best day. The Filipinos make our day 🥰 we eat alllll the street food lol! Lots of love to you♥️
Great video! We recently discovered Port Barton as well and we love the fact that it's less touristy. It's like how El Nido was 10-15 years ago. Definitely try the island hopping tour! The waters are super calm.
So happy you guys have had the chance yo visit! It’s so relaxing and awesome there. El Nido is definitely more busy!! 😂 we did the island hopping and it was great 💖
I’ve been watching this video many times now I’m glad u guys are enjoying and having fun in the Philippines 🇵🇭 I miss Philippines 🇵🇭 but I live in USA 🇺🇸 for a long time now
I miss Port Barton. Been there 2018. One of the best places in Palawan. Try their Island hopping tour its one of the best. Saw the biggest turtle in my life there. Awesome reefs.
Dalandan is a citrus fruit that closely resembles the orange fruit. If you like orange juice, chances are you’ll like dalandan juice as well. Try it when you get a chance.
Nice to watch you again, I guess for an energetic couple it's hard to slow down and go the with flow, but that is an Island life for you especially a place that is not crowded with tourists , I prefer the slow pace, specially because I'm claustrophobic. Yes that's what a typhoon would do to an Island , it's devastating but the Filipinos are resilient and pretty soon it will comeback to what it was. So, happy exploring and be safe always ,oh that sunset, wow, wow ,wow 😍
Haha yes we really tried to just chill out this day (and actually do more of it) filming a lot and racing to different locations gets very tiring! So this was the perfect day exploring this relaxed little town 🥰regardless of the typhoon we loved it, lots of love friend 🥰
I really like Shelby's energy..ur laugh & u talk a lot..so much fun watching u guys..😀😊u both r really adorable..continue spreading good vibes & sharing great videos..keep safe& enjoy life to d fullest!!😊😍😘
I miss Port Barton the last planned trip got canceled due to the pandemic and typhoon but will be returning there soon. The laid-back atmosphere is really the best. Enjoy!
Can you upload everyday?? I wanna be part of your Philippines adventure DAILY. You guys are soooo awesome! I'm getting sepanx whenever your video's is about to end 🥺 I get to travel to my home country without me being there, thanks to you guys lots of love from Philippines ♥️♥️♥️
Wow! This made us so happy to read.. thank you! 😍🥰 I wish we could upload every day but that would probably make it less enjoyable. We have a good thing going right now 🤩 but we are sooooo so glad you enjoy the vids though ♥️ Sending lots of love to you!
🥰🥰🥰one of the most flexible couple bloggers i ever watched. Be careful crossing the river guys, sometimes due to heavy rain up on the mountain can cause sudden flood.
Wow tnx for choosing Phils. a lot tourist now coming in the Phils. and they are going to the same place.. more fun in phils. before no covid a lot people go to the beaches its crowded but now no people . Tnx you like our culture and foods. Keep safe
Yes indeed Chase and Shelbs, Port Baton is a quaint little village. It is laidback, less developed and much less touristy than El Nido town. Great decision to make a stop and kind of taking "the road less travelled by", quite literally and figuratively. Your vlog is simply down to earth and your chemistry is incomparable. Will continue to tag along in your recent and upcoming adventures.
It was honestly such a perfect little place to have a bit of a relaxing time. We hope everyone gets the chance to see it! That is so nice of you to say. Much love Mario ♥️ many more fun adventures to come your way!
We were colonized by Spain and US before that is why we have spanish and english names. El Nido a spanish word which means "the nest" because there are birds in that island that make nest and that nests are being sold to chinese (correct me if im wrong).
Really couldn't get enough of you guys. Now I'm binging on Chase's yoga and work outs back in BC. 🤣 Sad that you had to leave PH (as we'd absolutely love to adopt you, cowguys) but i'll look forward to your Vietnam adventures soon. (Picket signs) New vid! New vid! Hahaha.
Hahahaa omg that’s so funny!! That was so long ago 😂👏🏼I think we have improved since then, don’t worry! There are still more videos to come out in the Philippines. Vietnam will come shorty after 🥳🎉
