@@ughhster That doesn't make any sense when you execute your note terribly lmao. Resonance achieved by Jona and Morissette is a thing Katrina CANNOT fathom. Morissette can sustain long ass notes for 18 seconds while resonating her belt - a thing Katrina can't do because all she do is be throaty and tensed with those sloppy embellishments she keep on doing.

@@ughhster I stated FACTS. That Bb4 is not just sustained, it is resonant and healthy. I could still give you hundreds of resonant B4s sustained for seconds. Anybody can sustain a note-even with a tension or high laryngeal placement or with a bad technique- and that still won't indicate a PROPER breath diaphragmatic support. I guess you haven't even watch Morissette sustaining a D5 for more than 10 seconds with *support* eh? Being able to support your belt is much harder than sustaining it. You don't understand and you'll still won't understand at the end of the day lmaooo. Self proclaimed vocal coach won't convince me lol. And yes, sloppy embellishments. Literally all Filipina singers are agile but they all create same ass sloppy melisma. Let's talk about real precision and healthy execution of vocal runs. Have Katrina ever did an arpeggio legato, a staccaticismo, ornaments like portato or groppo posato, and other melismatic skill? Fun fact: NONE of Filipina singers are able to do so. You all hype it up when they showcase agility and say "oh coloratura, precise melisma" when their musicianship, judging their vocal runs, are poor because it doesn't even compliment in the melody and just show off. Get off, you'll be responding yet you can't even back your propositions up with objective analysis because it was all just information you get from someone but doesn't truly understand what it is.
