we also have spicy dishes that you can try. Usually, Bicol region has a lot of spicy food because it has a lot of chilies and coconut milk. #1 dish you could try even your hear in makati is the BICOL EXPRESS, LAING, GINATAANG SANTOL, SILI (using siling labuyo) ICE CREAM, ORIGINAL SISIG, and KINILAW. if ever you could visit the Bicol region, you'll definitely love where MAYON VOLCANO is.(perfect cone shape)
I haven't tried bonchon but i really love chickenjoy in jollibee whether it's the plain or spicy one. Speaking of Korean, haven't you already tried the unlimited samgyupsal? Oslo is really very cute. I want to kiss and cuddle him just like what i do with my sons. More power to you guys and keep safe always.
It shouldn’t be a contest coz they have different flavor profiles so it will depend on your cravings. If you are craving for sweet chicken then I’ll go for Korean chicken rather than regular salty chicken fried chicken. The only problem w Bonchon’s chicken is they don’t marinate the chicken meat so much, seems only the skin. So I go for other Korean chicken places when available. And technically, we can’t really call it Filipino fried chicken bec we just adopted our fried chicken from the western style fried chicken. Max’s is more of Chinese style. I guess this is more of a fastfood war.
yeah pinoys love salty and sour foods. there is also a place in the ph where chili is popular and thats Bicol where you can even have chili icecream and bicol express ;) I highly suggest that you add bicol to your bucket list and see for yourself ;) enjoy your staycation ❤️
Please try MAX FRIED CHICKEN and SAVORY FRIED CHICKEN both are ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS because MAX and SAVORY were both established long time back from the 1950 and 1960 FRIED CHICKEN are their Signature Dish.
As just always saying and welcoming to newcomers and neophytes vloggers in the Philippines 🇵🇭 “ Welcome to the welcome 🤗 to the living paradise of planet 🌏 earth Philippines 🇵🇭 land of hospitality and delicious chicken 🐓/ fried chicken 🍗 😊😅😂 ❤
Yeeheey Jolly beans won 😂 spicy chicken joy for me and with rice. #Jollibee ❤ i missed Philippine rice that’s why sometimes I will drive to Jolibee Kuwait 🇰🇼 just for Rice and chicken joy.
@@rogersantarin9164 batter not butter, she means the coating the chicken. The crispy part only has taste not the actual meat. For me it’s tasty but not the meat, so bland.😅😅
You have not tried Classic Savory. It has famous fried chickem and pancit canton and shanghai Rice. Also Aristocrat restaurant they are famous in Chicken barbeque and pork BBQ.
@@wistlfamilyadventures Aristocrat restaurant is in Malate Manila facing Manila bay and near Malate church. Classic Savory I think there is restaurant in Glorietta 1 or glorietta aftee landmark.
it depends on one's mood.. if you like your chicken with a bit of spice and sweetness and a lot of flavor.. go for bon chon... if you like a standard chicken that taste good.. jollibee :)
I think a good number of our country's fast-food population would definitely agree. I myself prefer having a Jollibee Chicken Sandwich than the one Bonchon serves. Really depends on one's taste, I think. Some do prefer the latter, so it's probably all subjective.
I prefer bon chon's sandwiches to Jollibee's. They're cheaper, too at 150. Heck I prefer kfc zinger to Jollibee's. But the best one is the chicken sandwich at Army Navy.
Not a big fan of Bonchon. I’d rather have Frankies chicken, the parmesan and buffalo wings. When it comes to “simple” fried chicken, I like Jollibee. But I also like Popeyes. The fried chicken and fries are buttery, crispy and savory. 😊
We have taken adventures in these places which you can watch in these playlists ru-vid.com/group/PLXd7OVvjujhAUgcBQ4DRQf_KaVOTYgkfm ru-vid.com/group/PLXd7OVvjujhDIbanKFiNULaQjZb5liiC3
This match up is a rematch of last year's Best Fried Chicken in America. After knocking out all the other competion, Jollibee and Bonchon were the only two left standing. Jollibee won the finale.
Hello Wistl Family have a wonderful day always, since you were all trying a lot of Philippine style cook chicken 🍗 may I suggest that you should also try our best chicken lechon, it’s another delicious recipe of our cook chicken or I am not sure if you have already tried that but if not please try it, the Baliwag chicken lechon is more of very natural ingredients the other one is buchon chicken lechon with a little spies so try the differences of this two chicken lechon style 🤗 have fun to discover more chicken recipe of the Philippines ✌️❣️❣️❣️
Chicken Joy without gravy is not the same. Thats why it is super crispy because when you dip that super crispy chicken joy to the gravy it will balance out. truss. You have to try Jollibee Palabok its a must.
For me... Korean bonchon chicken is a once TRIED AND DONE treat. I already like fried chicken as is. To add sugar syrup on top is just too much. It adds little enjoyment and it needlessly raises the blood sugar. So my preference is the classic fried chicken.
Tom Sawyer fried chicken is not delicious. Its a kind of an old fashioned fried chicken in which the origin is in the southern part of the US but its full of cooking oil, its not yummy but so tiresome that you wont try to eat again unless you are hungry and its not worthy of the price which is more expensve than Popeye.
My suggestion is go out makati and try binondo chinatown got shitloads of yummy and cheap food that you and the kids will enjoy. Try to experience riding a jeep.
Hi! Knowing that part of your adventures here in the Philippines is to explore Filipino cuisine I hope that you would consider visiting Buddy Pizza to try the food and other native delicacies of Quezon province. Must try are Hardinera, Longganisang Lucban, Budin (Cassava Cake) and of course the infamous Pansit Lucban. There are branches nearby your area like the ones in Makati Avenue, Kalayaan Ave and Kakarong corner Barasoain. The owner of this food chain is a local of Lucban, Quezon which is famous for their Pahiyas Festival (celebrated every 15th of May).
I wouldn't recommend BonChon if you try Korean foods because it is a highly Filipinized version of Korean dishes compared to what they are advertising. Their kimchi coleslaw isn't really kimchi, but it's more of a spicy coleslaw. I recommend you go to Korean restaurants instead. There is more authenticity in the flavors than BonChon. Speaking of fast food fried chicken, I prefer Jollibee, KFC, and Popeye's. I love splurging my fried chicken in gravy, especially Jollibee's and KFC's. P.S. I didn't know french fries with gravy is an English thing. I just do it because I like it. I always dip my KFC french fries in gravy because it's delicious, but if it's from other fast food chains, I dip it in ice cream.
For me jollybee is the best..ever..popular to different countries, but you know the korean chicken is made by pilipinos chef cook..so is the same..tastier..but very important we are in different taste..who is our like or you want to eat..thats all..👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️❤️❤️❤️✌️✌️✌️🇨🇿🇨🇿🇨🇿..
I hate you guys. NOW I'M CRAVING FOR CHICKEN! Unfortunately, payday is still 2 days away. Can't afford to buy Jollibee or Bon Chon 😢. Ftied eggs for dinner, AGAIN 😢
Bon Chon is overrated. Their chicken is mediocre. Their bibimbowl is crap 💩 I do love their desserts, though. I'm not defending Jollibee 🐝 ether. I've been eating that for close to 30 years. Im sick and tired of it.
Im a Filipino but i prefer Bonchon as more delicious than Jolibee fried chicken. The chicken joy now is much different from the chicken joy a long time ago. Its so oily and full of monosodium glutamate.
You’re stupidly comparing apples to oranges. Filipino style is like Southern style why would you compare it to something with sauce, when Filipino is dipped in gravy.
