Malaki ang sahod sa Korea pero yung cost of living naman malaki din kaya for me kahit nasa pinas ka kahit maliit ang sahod bastat sama sama ang pamilya the best sikat ka. Nasa tao ang gawa nasa Diyos ang awa. GOD WILL PROVIDE. Kaya be contented.
I have been living for more than 30 years here in Europe, (Austria and Switzerland)Even got the EU passport. A very peaceful, clean country. People are very honest, and very discipline.Salary wise it is one of the highest paying countries with highest standard of living in the world. But i can only say there is no place like home.Despite of the poverty of my country and the difficulties and challenges it is facing I couldnt wait to go back home and serve my people and my country. No matter where i go i will always be a proud Filipino missing the simplicity of my countrymen. I cannot find anywhere else the resiliency of the filipinos .The family closeness and bonding that we have cannot be found anywhere else. For sure the best is yet to come to the Philippines and i want to see and be part of that.In Gods perfect time blessings upon blessings will come to the Philippines.
home is where our hearts belong, kahit dito sa netherlands, safe, peaceful, clean and of course malaki ang sahod, pero iba parin sa pinas pag kasama mo pamilya at mga kaibigan mo...nakakamiss din ang pagkaing pinoy lalo na mga lutong bahay
I like South Korea bcoz most people living in SK say that "even if you walk alone at night, nothing bad will happen to you" at "kapag naiwan mo ang phone mo sa table ,pagbalik mo nandon parin". ...
As an OFW too yes Philippines is the best place to live. ♥️
Thank you Kristy for sharing this to us.
I take note what I've learned from our kababayan *You need first to learn the language and values because every countries are different. *Korea is the best for those who are finding job abroad.
Watching this vlog seriously. All there answer is good. the one ate who's crying while answering the questions makes me cry too. I know it's hurt when your parents or family is not being in your Side. Love and like the way they answer the questions and one day that's my dream to go to Korea. always fighting mga ate and kuya! Thank you for this opportunity to know there answer ate kristy 💖 your vlog is always good and inspirational ate kristy 😊
Because I also worked in S. Korea for 4 yrs.. I missed my Korean chingu.. Cause all off them are kind, generous and honest... And also safe talaga sa korea
Deserves ng mga OFWs ng recognition at maipakita sa mundo how hardworking they are. It's an opportunity too how Filipinos adjust to Korean culture and how Korean deals with OFWs Big salute to the author.. thanks idol for the very inspiring interview vlog! Galing mo talaga gumawa ng content! 🔥
Kuya, it's fortunate that you experienced all the good things in Korea, but we all know that no country is PERFECT. It is also the harsh truth. Too "praising" is cringy. To all interviewees, I'm glad that you all enjoy Korea.
There is no place like home. I live here in Canada but I still miss home. I think some of them exaggerate on the safety side. In every country there are people that are bad. I kind of think ,they do not have loyalty for their country...
Every country there's a downside. There's a bad element in every country. I have visited some countries and been living in the United States for more than 20 years. I've seen a lot. Life in Korea is just like in America very stressful. Even bosses here worked & helped staff or crew especially if they are short handed . Even the salary is high you still have to have one full time & part time job because of the high standard of living. Why there's so many Americans and even European choose to retired in Philippines and even Filipinos because life is not stressful and you still have time with your family and do something.
Im very proud of you dear sister dolenza cabradilla, you are working very hard for the sake of the need of your family but you always take care of your self, because health is the very important so that you can achieve your dream..
It is still sad you work most of your life overseas barely seeing your family for all those years then come home when you are already old , missing all those years while your kids are growing up, all the milestones. I hope there is a way to invest on your earnings and also hope the kids and other family don’t just depend on that $ but also work hard for themselves
I have been to korea twice and like them,i always make it a point to book during winter time to experience cold…in fact i was there during the 2018 winter olympics and paralympics which was held in pyeongchang..if given the opportunity and if airports are open again for tourist without quarantine,i wanted to go back to korea again.. still have other places to explore aside from naminara republic😂. Nice interaction with them.
Love the couple that said they love snow there. I’m the opposite, tired of driving, shoveling and putting on layers of clothing. Right now, I have to go outside my home shovel and snow blow 6 inches of snow. I’ll make sure I’ll stop and spend more time in Korea next time I go back to Cebu for vacay. So glad they like it there, Koreans and Filipinos always have a good bond with each other.
I cried bcos of this vlog ,dito naten malalaman na sobrang hardworking ng mga ofw ilang oras lng tulog nila minsan wla pa pero tuloy paren sila sa pagtatrabaho lahat ginagawa nila para may maipadala o makaipon para sa pamilya 😭✨.
I'm so proud to our OFWs, they're sacrificing a lot just to work in other country to earn money. I hope you stay strong po palagi. Ingat po kayo, mahal namin kayo.
There is no safe place on earth and there is no place like home, I n my opinion they are not honest with some of their answer. Truth is whatever things you accumulate in life if you are not close with love ones your happiness is not complete you find real joy only in God and with family. I believe in every culture there is negatives and positive side in them. I must say, I am bias but I still believe many Filipino traits I can be proud in general. It is good that they don't focus on the negative side of Koreans because as foreigners in that country you must adjust to them. I feel that is not the case for some of those 120,000 Koreans who live in the Philippines. In terms of a safe place many countries claim that, but its is a matter of opinion.
I love korea, working in korea for almost 9 years really helps me a lot financially.. ngayon nandito na ako sa pilipinas nasa puso at isip ko lahat ng naitulong sa akin ng pagtatrabaho ko sa korea, proud eps worker here, 감사합니다 대한민국❤❤❤
KUDOS Kristy for having come to think of making this great Video. Its essence transcends and relates not only among Pinoys and Koreans but also among all Races. Kamsahamnida!!! BTW, maybe you can also do a video with the different approach with Koreans' perspectives and understandings of Pinoys in Korea or Pinoys in general.
Even if you finished college in the philippines and be professional, i would still choose to work here in korea. Im a public school teacher back in the philippines but end up working here as factory worker for 5 yrs now, because the salary is 10 times bigger here and koreans are friendly.
That's super true about the salary rate here in the Philippines that is sad truth. I'm still hoping that the leaders in our country will take a move for a better changes, for better and right amount of payment. Gamsahamnida Ms.Kristy Cho for this vlog it's an eye opener for the leaders in our country. One of the qualifications for being a President is they must have a deeper / deepest love for the people and country ✊👌🤟🤙😎🙏🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍🇰🇷🇵🇭
Dapat sinabi nya in her own experience or perspective. Ginegeneralize nya kasi.
What an interesting vlog you have & different from most vloggs we watched.I wondered how you were able to know & meet them for this purpose.Anyway, it's good to know so far, that all did have good to experiences there in South Korea. They are all lucky to have good employers, husband, family relationship, etc although it's not true or some are unlucky with their life too there in South Korea. Ako ay naging OFW din for so many years since my teen-ager life until i was almost reaching my senior age.True, you have to learn the language of a country where you work para hindi mahirapan sa communication. You are lucky if most can speak English. One have to adjust & follow the traditions & culture too of that country. Dapat galangin ang maraming bagay na dapat matutunan sa isang bansa para walang problema, magkakaroon ng new friends, love their foods, love the weather, the beautiful places na pwedeng pasyalan, many more. You also have to know the laws of the country & also your own rights so that you know what you should do & can't do in that country.Sana you can also interview other OFWs pa with different experiences din.Thank you.
For you KRISTY PATA thank you for making this vlog. you're become an instrumental to my FILIPINO KABABAYANS to share their stories about what is life in korea. Hopefully your next vlog will be the koreans who living here in the PHILIPPINES. If only i can meet you personally, i will give you a warm hug and say KAMSAHAMIDA (SALAMAT PO) KRISTY PATA God Bless You, your family, your friends especially your fans. ❤❤❤❤❤
been here in new zealand for 5 yrs, can't go home bcoz of pandemic and can't comeback to nz if i go home as the government here will not accept returnee, very hard but need to sacrifice for the my family. my experience with koreans while working on board the is good and bad but more on the good side...
Kudos to Kristy to have this kind of content. Like, every country has it's pros and cons. Been going to Korea back and forth as a tourist coz I really love the country and the culture. How they still preserve the culture, specially the "Age" culture or somewhat the hierarchy, even the food and, houses you can see it with your own eyes. Yes, you can buy affordable clothes in Hongdae or DDM, the quality is really good. You can also buy branded stuff in an affordable price if you go to an outlet stores which you really need to spend your time commuting hehe. Delivery is fast as well in Korea. But the living expenses is quite high. Like the electricity and water bills, and even house rentals. It's expensive. And yes, koreans are very busy people so if you don't have money, you are nothing. You really need to work hard to strive and also you need to know the culture specially the language. Koreans are really nice and approachable but they are scared if your going to ask or talk to them in English, so better learn the language. Been watching many ofw living in Korea and it still depends on the experience they had. So be always ready if your going to work or migrate to a different country

It's crazy to see Filipinos speaking good English having to learn a language spoken in one tiny little country. It would be nice to see Filipino OFW in English speaking countries.
New subscriber here, bakit recently ko lang napanood ang YT mo. I luv this vlog alam mo yung naluluha ka habang nanonod nito hirap talagang maging OFW. Pinaiyak mo agad ako Kristy😭
Nice vlog. Sana mameet muh po sina Sylvia Kim, Juwonee and Just Moy in Korea. Stay safe always po Godbless Pretty KristyPata. Salute to Hero Ofws there in South Korea🇰🇷🇵🇭🙏😇😊
First of all mabuhay po ang mga magiting nating mga OFW!! you are the modern bayani that helps the economy of PH bigtime. Regarding lost items in PH I'm glad to have experienced a pedicab driver here in the PH who returned my cellphone after dropping it on her pedicab in Intramuros. I called my phone and glad she setup a time to meetup and bring it back, though she asked for a little money but I guess its my fault of losing it and she deserved to be rewarded for staying on her morals. I guess what I'm trying to say the state of living here is the reason why some people are like that and its will be the same in any country that will experience poverty. In addition about the people in korea minding their own business. I think PH has that kind of attitude also but a slight differences when it comes to what to care and what not to care and back to lost items, some people keep your phone on a safe place to a lobby or lost and found place to protect them from bad people.
Grabe nman yung 2hrs na tulog. Hoping na this is just a day or two. Not good for your health, kayod kabayo ka pero sina-sacrifice mo nman yung health mo. You also need to learn how to rest 😊
It’s a pity situation to Dolenza and it seems she only live just to work and work but not to work in order to live what we called it in the philippines is “Hanap Patay”.I hope when she will come home she still alive. My unsolicit advice to her, dont let money ruin her health because health is wealth also, before she knows it she will regret later.
Love yourself first Ate.
They should have said, " from my perspective". It sounded as if they're generalizing. Like, for the Managers and Supervisors that do nothing in work, that's a very stupid thing to say. Coz it contradicts the very famous attribute that we've been known for, 'the very hardworking Filipino people'. Like, where's your brain girl. For salary - it's relative to your position and the industry you're in. If you're in Sales, or an Engineer, Doctor, or just a simple BPO employee (depending on the account), you shouldn't be earning a meager wage. that's all. :)
From this interview I found a general problem exists within the Filipinos. They are good people and willing to sacrifice but they are lack of visions in the life. if you want to succeed in a non-English county, the priority is to master the language then get professional training in their language. Of course you can do it at same time you are still working in a factory. I believe that the Chinese Filipino did same, they learn your language and the skills. Usually the Asians influenced by confucianisme, they will take a short term sacrifice but not forever into vicious cycle. It is same applicable to the leaders in Philippine, need a long vision with a short sacrifice.
So far of all the videos I've watched here on your channel this content I love the most. This really touches my heart. It made me so much realizations in my life. Spread the love guys no matter what's our nationality we are all the same human. Thank you for making this video.
I experience alot of discrimination here in korea more when pandemic came.. they think foreigner have covid im pregnant that time with my twins and they dont want us to eat in their restaurant.. and other bad experience i got accident in the factory but my boss didnt even pay my check up.. but he gave salary but still check up and the procedure i need to do its very expensive..
