I felt like that was the worst death. She was under a giant piece of concert and couldn't escape, then just gets casually stabbed. The whole scene was messed up though where Yukli just shoots his friends.

( iwatched the anime but i dont understand everything maybe someone can help) So she came to 2 vers (universe) to spend time, after killing second yuno in second vers. So yukki 2 vers is alive and yuno from 1 vers i sin second vers. And they go to the third vers, but both of them survive????? I mean yukki survived he got back to be god for the second verse, but what is with yuno from the 1 vers she got picked up by the little girl. So is she dead or not? And what happened therefore to yukki btw, yukki 3 vers. You can see a scene in the normal ending (which is terrible i was crying) where yukki is together with this random girl which kinda, TRIGGERS ME. So i need clarification since we know 1 version is together with yuno but what is with the other verison of yukki? WHEn i got it right maybe i am wrong i hop eso.
this was much better than the original ending, I'll be able to sleep knowing that he's not eternally lost in the dark abyss with his never ending thoughts of her
Actually this is the real ending the ova continues the series and end it with the manga. The series end where yukki os declared god and ova finishes the reunion

I only realized the opening is full of spoilers when someone on youtube pointed it out (that's after I finished watching mirai nikki)

the ova is just a more detailed ending , in the last episode of the anime we saw yukkis diary changing from "Yuno dies" (In the School) to "Yuno comes to me" (2nd dimension,Void), so we actually knew before the ova that they would live together in the second dimension. in a scene in the 3rd world(also in the last episode) yuno had a pendant of muru muru 1, which lead her to deus, where she got her old memories back and got send to yukki. we also know that there wont be only void anymore because yukki stated he doesnt make a new world because it would be empty without yuno. But after yuno finally reuniting with yukki after 10000 years he´ll create a world.
@@zynicism6413 i feel bad for the people that had to endure the one year of depression before this got released, they were probably clinging to that one ray of hope of the post credits scene in the season finale that said "Yuno comes to see me" in Yuki's diary. I watched this ending right after i finished the series so i was just sad for like 5 minutes😂😂

I mean technically it was only the 1st and second world Yuno's that were ef'd up. The third world Yuno hadn't yet experienced enough to kill her parents so she was still alright and it doesn't seem like getting 1st world Yuno's memories caused her to go ape shit again.
Otaku Warrior You see, Third World Yuno was raised with the love of her parents and hadn’t experienced the insanity and traumatizing world of Mirai Nikki (Future Diary) so since she now has a stable mind and the ability to not go to extremes like murder, acts of psychopathy, etc. she can now firmly comprehend what had just happened throughout the series. Yuno has now been raised as a, somewhat, normal human with moral values and is now not crazy which means she can now take in her past memories from First and Second World Yuno and thus she and Yukki get their happy ending without any of the psychological tension.
If there's something I didn't understand in this anime (besides how much of the future the diaries could predict, how separated are the different iterations of each character, and how fate coexists with free will, etc.), is where the hell did that 10,000 years figure come from. Even if we ignore the fact that time is parallel in the three worlds, it wouldn't take more than a couple years for third world's Yuno to age from her depiction in episode 26 to her depiction in the OVA, when she finally goes after Yukki. We could also add two more years that Yukki time-skipped as he went back to the second world, and it would be still less than half a decade. Truth be told, logic in this anime was often left behind in order to make a more appealing/ entertaining/ cute story. The way the diaries work varies pretty much according to how the plot needs to flow and I think this pretty much illustrates how this is not a cohesive work. Don't get me wrong, I love Mirai Nikki, more than I loved any other anime/ TV series in my life. But still, a lot of it doesn't make any sense and its creator didn't seem to care at all about cohesiveness, just about making an appealing story.
Oh, I didn't see it that way. The aerial fights strongly reminded me of Dragon Ball Z (even though at a WAY faster pace) and I liked to see the depiction of the fights getting way more frenetic as the story neared its climax. I just didn't understand if Yuno was technically able to fly since the very beginning of the anime, lol. Perhaps she already had that ability but hid it to not fuck up things causality-wise, as Muru Muru would say.
iepictic it isn't "Aeriel flight" per say. It's gravity control, or rather reality control. If you go by what Dues represent the god of time, and space. That basically is a being in control of every aspect of existence. There was no way to avoid a ending with super powers considering the anime started with super powers. Yuno cross dimensions (or worlds if you want) that was the first (unknown to us) use of god powers. The second was not shown of that how they trapped world 2 murmur, in a alternate reality dimension. I for one enjoyed all the twists in the end, it showed us a small example of what Dues powers are capable of. Edited: the main reason Yuno never used her powers once, was because of the time distortion it would of caused. Dues was watching everyone, and if any detection of gods power would of shown up he would of reacted. That is why world 1 murmur took worlds 2 mur spot to make sure their plans didn't get interrupted.
2 days, i watched this in 1 night, not to mention it was my 1st and most favorite. this anime is what led me to watch anime all together. god bless this anime. (even tho its about killing and death)

I just found out this OVA yesterday and the last time I watched this series was about 2011-ish...can u imagine how long I've suffered from the emptiness I've felt all these years when I remember about the show...tbh I cried when I watched the OVA ending and started to binge-rewatching for 2 days...
Can we all agree that it's okay to hate the first world yuno, feel sorry for the second world yuno and like the third world yuno? Is that okay? Am I allowed to do that?
I love the three of them. And even though they're different, they're still the same person. It's kinda weird for me how this separation works in fact. I mean, both Yuno and Nishijima (who didn't have any Muru Muru guiding him), had flashbacks of their "past" lives. And now Muru Muru says that first world's Yuno memories belongs to third world's Yuno. Still, they're said to be different people which can technically coexist. It's really ambiguous and doesn't make a lot of sense, so I prefer to believe that first world's Yuno is still alive in third world's Yuno and that she lives with Yukki together forever. Third world's Yuno seems fine and all, but by herself she isn't the character whom I've spent 26 episodes becoming attached to. And if Yukki lived forever with her and she wasn't the same person as first world Yuno, then Yukki would be living forever with someone other than the one whom he felt in love with through the anime, which would be really sad.
Giovanni Brescancini thing is 3rd world yuno also recieved the memories of the 1st world yuno. In other words we get the same yuno but less batshit crazy
tbh i wished this was the last episode instead of it being an ova, nearly all of my friends didn't know this was the true ending until I showed them just then
alot of it actually does make sense (excluding games and manga, even then it does but it gets more complicated) it just requires a bit more thinking about everything that happened, this ending kind of cut alot of shit out which actually makes some of it more complicated, for example he asks ninth to be god, talks to eleventh about the game already existing, failing and him dying so he's basically salty that he failed and so he's trying to propose a new game and deus kinda just gets him to fuck off and talks to (i forget who, its murmur, or akise i think) that he might not choose a new god, all he's doing is postponing the end so the first world is gone, second is in control of yukiteru and third is in control of ninth, yukiteru or gone

Indeed. I also had a bitter sweet taste as the 3. Yukki ended up with another girl ( he originaly has a crush on.) This just doesn´t feel right. But as second Yukki and third Yuno became also god of the 3. world they may change some things.
And uryuu 2 stayed in world 3 where uryuu 3 is still alive. I prefer world 3 but sad that yukki stayed with a different girl and not being friends with aru and the gang. But everyone got the ending they wanted.
Cherry Faith well I’m not much of a manga reader but I wanted to see the end of it so basically yeah yuno 1(god yuno ) killed her self yuno 2( killed by god yuno ) and yuno 3( perfect world yuno ) . The only real difference is that in the 3 world is they both succeed as gods . So technically they did get a happy ending but yukki still has to live with the pain and so does the new yuno
I remembered I became extremely depressed and cried a lot after finishing Mirai Nikki. But when I found this OVA, I am so glad this it exists and it made me heal quickly :')
Now that's how you end a anime that really touched me. The love between yuno and yuki is so good it makes me cry. I'm glad In the end their both together

The other end was really depressing and it made me really sad. I cried for days. Then I found this life saver, I'm going to pretend this is how it really ends in every version of this amazing show.
so yuno 1 died but mur mur 1 got her memories and shit , and the yukkkkki 2 is a god in the second universe , but when the yuno 3 get the memories from mur mur she may got the knowledge of god , so yuno and yukki are gods in the third universe where deius is also a god

Idk what everyone else is talking about I vividly remember the ending being Yuno and Yuki sitting in a void holding light to create a universe together. That was the last memory I had of this show.
Just finished this anime literally rn & yes. That’s how it ends w/ his phone getting an updated text & a scene later of them making a new universe/world together. From what I’m gathering the OVA is just details of how Yuno gets to D2 to see Yuki 2. Same ending just more details. Don’t know why ppl keep saying 1st ending is bad. They’re the same 😂

I actually just finished the anime today lol. But mannn the ending was goood even episode 26 was good because we all knew that Yuno came back and meet Yuki again but I bet people were confused in episode 26 cause the 2nd Yuno was dead. But hats off to the author for making an OVA! It helped a lot lol
It’s actually pretty smart putting the true ending in the OVA instead of the original series so that the people that watches the anime are also forced to watch the OVA or read the manga to know the true ending
This is the first anime that make me cry then i watch clannad and cry a lot, It's been 4 years since i watch mirai nikki i thought this anime is only about murder until i watch the last episode and the ova damn it feel so good seeing then together again.❤
This show is great it's sad too the last 4 episodes had me crying and when yuno stabbed herself was very sad Yugi was heartbroken for 10,000 years 😭😭😭 we lost pretty much everything but the 3rd interation of all of them were happy so that's good the ending is bitter sweet 😭😭😭 such a great show I'm sad there isn't a season 2 or something else you know 😭😭😭😭 Edit a week later. The manga ending and ova ending in the manga was better it explains everything a lot better you don't walk away feeling like there is a lot unanswered like in the anime. We need a ova 2

This was actually the real ending, now looking back this is a really awesome anime. The way they made Yuno’s character was beyond awesome, and just the anime is general was awesome. And the best part is they all got a happy ending 🙃
Honestly I'm really happy with the ending it's just that it's pretty upsetting some people keep arguing that the ending wasn't good because this Yuno was the 3rd world one, pls didn't you see she had shattered memories of 1st Yuno and the other thing is THEY'RE HAPPY SO LET THEM BE HAPPY.
