Very nice focused space. Easy to watch too. I love my vpc1 but I sacrificed everything for that action. Controlling the daw needs a tablet at the minimum or walking to my keyboard (standing desk).
Looks like you'll never need to ask the neighbours whether your playing is getting to them. I love the simplicity of it and I'm all for distressed wood. Epic, moving improvisation. Great teaching on themes.
Exactly!Thank you! Sadly, there's no sound proofing. It's all just treatment of the sound inside the room. The overall level may be a little less with the loss of all those big reflections, so that might help a little.

I purchased your course and have some questions. As far as i understand the mantra is only applicable to 4/4 2/2 basically even rhythms. Is there a different mantra for 3/4 or am i not understanding it correctly. Also what is your fluent approach to polyrhythms. In Ravels Jeux d'eau im struggling with 6 against 8 and 3 againt 8 polyrhythm in the middle section.
Sorry, I don't provide free coaching. I'd love to but I just don't have the time. My materials (not really a course - although the 15 steps document does set things out quite incrementally) are priced very reasonably to reflect this. Step 10 covers other regular matrix structures and their associated mantras and in step 14, polyrhythms are explored.

I made it from two pieces of reclaimed, stained scaffolding wood which I bought online. I was raised playing acoustic pianos - Steinways are my favourite - and I find the PHA50 action feels great in comparison.
Congratulations on your new studio, it looks great. Did you think of having a thing holding a green screen in the back for video editing? ;) the improvisation sounds great like always. I was wondering how to improvise in Bach or Bethoveen's style. It would be nice if you could make a video about that 😂
Thanks! Green screen doesn't appeal to me. To improvise in any style, first become completely fluent then use the musical language in a similar way. To be honest, there's a bit of "dark" knack to it too, which is hard to teach. It's a bit like being able to mimic people's mannerisms or accents.
