What a great video to watch while sipping coffee this afternoon! This makes me want to go back to Austria again. I Really enjoyed the photos from inside the place you were staying! You should also try doing some more street photography. It would be interesting to see your perspective within that genre of photography
@@teocrawford yep been a couple times! Not for very long though. I need to go back to Europe now! But this time with more camera experience under my belt
I think Actually many people that not into photography to much and just enjoy random aestetic pictures, are love simple photography Just like your mountain lake landscape shoot 👍 And i also one of them 🤣 i just enjoy your photography especially the pictures you took in lumix only video. I'm also started saving my money to buy Lumix GX85 and learn new hoby!
Your content is very good (my English is very bad, I use Google translator. Sorry) I repeat, your content is very good and I hope to continue learning even if I don't understand much when you explain. Cheers Guadalajara México.
You have a really crisp and consistent eye, these photos all had a very clean feeling to them. I particularly loved the shots in the apartment (those wooden beams!!) as well as the first few on your hike, and the trees reflected in the lake. Immediately subscribing after this video !
awesome video ,love the story behind the photos and my favourite is the one on the apartment and the shoes i get the feeling of take a break and relax :)
I really enjoy this kind of videos from you, they make me feel like I was the one travelling and taking photos! And just a quick tip: in my opinion, some "dehaze" inside lightroom on the inverted images is veeery helpful to make the scans much better (just on the positive TIFF or jpeg, not on the RAW file)
I really like the photo of the plant in the corridor. Because of the light, but also the structure of the scene. Big diagonal top-down to the left, and the plant disturbing this line with a interrogation point, reversed. And aldo, this plant couldn't stay stringht up, it has to reach for the light of look through te window. There's a whole story here I can see !
You should really try to use polarisation filter while shooting mountains - that way you'd get rid of the haze and get much more contrast and cleaner colours out of the box. WARNING: if you try to use polarisation filter on any of your mirrorless cameras, make sure you got a circular one, course the linear polarisation filter will trow off your focus significantly. I've learned that the hard way...
8:10 you should be either extremely lucky or very talented to produce a good 'wallpaper' as you named it. the world is full of crap wallpapers so don't underestimate your work, it's a splendid shot!
@@arricammarques1955 ideally that would be good 😊 sometimes photography can get in the way of a trip though haha I can definitely relate to not wanting to bring too much and actually relax and enjoy the trip ✌️
Actually it wasn't. Photography was not the focus of the trip and I just wanted to bring the camera to capture special moments, such as the view from the mountain and the lake. I think it was even helpful to keep my mind on the trip itself more than the photography🤔🤗
I would just like to ask, i really like your videos and some of the shots are really absolutely stunning, my only question is, do you edit your shots at all? I havent gotten kodak gold to have that puchy color. Great work!! Keep it up!
It's hard to say at what point editing begins, when self scanning. I talked about this in detail in this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-FcvJhkMzsNM.html Basically when converting my negatives, I have my pre-saturation setting on +5, so maybe that's the reason for differing results🤔🙌🏼 Thank you!🤗
@@teocrawford I agree. The color profile changes somewhat pretty much the second we scan them. But yeah that might be the problem for me, i scan the mirrorless camera way and i dont change anything in my software except the crop! Ill try saturating a little bit! Im gonna say this is my favourite video of yours, the pictures in this one has a fantastic vibe!! Beautiful places. Thank you for your reply!🙏
Hey Teo! Fantastic video again! Really like the interior shots! How did you like shooting Kodak Gold 200? Seemed a lot of the photos had a teal tone to them was that intentional? Enjoy hearing the stories with these photos!
Thank you!🤗 Kodak Gold is fine, nothing special though. I like to use it for more casual shots like on this trip, when photography is not the focus, mainly because it's cheap compared to other stocks👀 I'm not sure whether the teal tendency was intentional... I just converted and edited the negatives intuitively🤷🏻♂️
I was filming with my Lumix GX80 plus the Panasonic 14-140mm which both have internal stabilisation, which work together and produce incredibly smooth results🙌🏼 When it got a bit shaky I added a little bit of warp stabiliser in Premiere to help🤗
hi, just curious what your connection with Austria is - you're a student there but have you any family connections that has you there? Greats video, as always!
Thank you!🤗 It's my home, I grew up here. The uni I wanted to go to just happened to be in my hometown, which is why I'm still here haha. However my parents are actually both not Austrian, therefore apart from them I do not have any family connections in Austria🤷🏻♂️
