Great conversation! Gosh! I can't remember when I started listening but I do certainly remember when Matt joined the first time! I'm with Phil Steblay on the sentiment about cameras :)

Ok, this was awesome!! I wish I had known about it ahead of time to see it live, but it was still fantastic. On a side note, I emailed you guys awhile back on possibly doing an 8mm film contest. I offered to donate the prize. Please get back with me, I can definitely help to make it happen.

Great show! Really enjoyed the film camera talk and future of film discussion. I also think film is here to stay, but I believe the sheer number of brands available will shrink in proportion to a fall in interest. There are way too many film cameras out there, and it would be a crime to not keep using them. Long live film!

Nice! being a non native English speaker sometimes the subtitles help out. The FPP can be somewhat confusing sometimes for me.

Love film, but the cost of the stock and the cost of development (whether you do it yourself or have it lab developed) is so high for the average person to do consistently. $45 all in cost on a roll of 120 film at a lab. Ouch. I often wonder what Ansel Adams would be shooting with if still alive? Probably both.

There are options. Home development is amazingly INEXPENSIVE. A color negative kit costs $20.us and will develop 20 rolls. thedarkroom.com will develop & scan for $12.
