As a cowboy fan, I was really low on the Tyler Smith pick but I am glad to say, he proved me wrong, he's been the best tackle in the draft

I liked the push we had when Peters was in at guard. Going forward, I hope we continue this play calling with the run setting up the pass when Dak gets back. He is seeing the young left tackle battle and learn…so he can start to really trust him. I didn’t know him to well going into the draft, but I think we got ourselves a keeper! Aloha n mahalo

The great thing about having Jason Peters at guard, at his advanced age, is that he doesn't get caught on an island one on one and additionally you don't interrupt Tyler Smith's development at left tackle.

As a Bear fan I absolutely adored Jason Peters. He was humble yet nasty. He was flat out many times a stud for us.

Reminds me of the Tyron Smith and Ron Leary combo in 2017. Those 2 w/ a fresh Zeke... was Superbowl caliber. Too bad our D fense wasn't solid in 2017, as it is now. If we can keep this together.. we going deep.

7:56 This is why you convert Josh Ball to a TE, instead of expecting one of our smaller TEs to block a DE. At 6'-8", 304 lbs, I'm pretty sure Ball would have eliminated that DE and Pollard would have had a huge gain.

I was thrilled with the Tyler Smith pick at the time. He had amazing raw talent but did have issues with specifically penalties and form. Those issues aren’t something to worry about nearly as much because they can be coached out of you. So far this season he has played at an amazingly high level and he is just scratching the surface. I thought the best move was to put Tyler back at guard when Peters was finally activated. That being said Peters first play with that long pollard run tells me that maybe Peters at left guard is 100% the way to go. Peters always was and still is an elite run blocker. He isn’t bad in pass blocking by any means but Tyler being far faster and has quick feet should definitely stay on the outside so he can continue dominating edge rushers and also being a monster in run blocking. Peters seems to fit in at guard perfectly. Whether pull blocking or just opening up holes like he did for pollard on that inside zone run. Really happy with the OL, especially considering 2 starters were out in Tyron and Mcgovern. I mean if they want their best 5 then it seems to be Tyler LT, Peters LG, Biadisz C, Zack Martin RG (obviously), and steele at RT. Steele has also impressed me. I thought losing La’el was a huge mistake but Steele has played way better than Collins has in cinci.

couple things that maybe could've been mentioned 2nd play (stretch/zone), Peters' block is actually set up well by Pollard. As he's reading he sees the angle Peters has and slow plays inside, setting up Peters' seal. Also 2nd pass play where Tyler Smith catches the End. The catching is actually caused by his flex or lack thereof. He kicks out of his stance and is completely straight-legged. At the point of impact, the defender's facemask is in Smith's chest, with the advantage in leverage, Smith has no choice but to catch and try and muscle him. In the last example you showed, he has better knee-bend (still not perfect), but at contact they're at the same pad-level, which gives Smith the advantage over the smaller man.

Peters need to be starting next to Tyler Smith. And we should kick Tyron out to right tackle when he get back. Because he would be next to Zack Martin. And he would be on Rush'' s front side. Instead of his blind side. Because he get beat too much at left tackle. But would be great with right handed qbs being able to see him on their front side.

after watching your videos . i saw this play. 6:22 an the highlight reels and payed attenttion to the lineman. Smith blocked like 2 guuys and ran like a rookie after that money and blcocked 2 more guys before the play was over. if thats notna good rookie idk what is i was astounded

I would take Smith in the top 5 in a redraft.

Only weak link on the oline is our center and future at guard is uncertain. Once smith comes back we have a solid core. Probably next year upgrade the interior of the line

Next year we should go offensive line all the way in the draft .like we did with the defense. Our defense is playing lights out . I just wanna se the cowboys beating the eagles .i dont understand the media crowning the eagles when las year we score 48 and 50 points on their asses and this is with Connor Williams. We lost amary cooper but we have noah brown which is a real soldier . The 12 men personal two TEs Two running back is our game

If 77 comes back put him at RT , Steele doesn't dominate at the Point of attack which causes busted plays in the Run game which is our bread and butter.

Can be very good LT think all pro at LG But since it’s easyier to find interior guys instead oT LT Tyler staying LT guess Wezlko and Ball swing tackles. I see Guard or Center early for Dallas in 2023

JUST TO THINK - AND I WAS IN "COMPLETE DISBELIEF": Some Cowboys fans (I know) were talking about OL Jason Peters like he couldn't play OLG!!! HUH? Some even went as far as saying, word out of Philly is Peters didn't play G well when he played for the Eagles! HUH? I grew up in Philly, as a Cowboys fan! You're not going to get a COMPLETE, OPEN MINDED, and UNBIASED opinion of a former Eagles player - ESPECIALLY "AFTER" he signs with the Cowboys - from too many Eagles (or any team, for that matter) fans! NEWS FLASH: "IF" a player can play OLT in the NFL - and especially an UNDRAFTED FREE AGENT - like Peters at the HIGH LEVEL he's played at during his career, they can play OLG! My guess is Peters can probably play all offensive line positions, with C probably being the exception! THE FIRST THING I SAID WAS: "IF" the Cowboys plan on making "TYLER" Simth the FULL TIME OLT, then they might as well start getting him ready NOW! Playing Peters at OLG can help him not have to deal with as many SPEED-RUSHERS around the edge, like he did playing OLT, that has given him some trouble since he's gotten "OLDER." But at OLG the D-LINEMAN almost, always has to engage him! And most of the time, once Peters gets those BIG BEAR PAWS on you - IT'S OVER! I still think Dallas needs to DOUBLE DIP and get another OL within the TOP 3 ROUNDS of the '23 draft, depending on whose on the board and at what position when they're on the clock, of course. There was also some talk about what to do with OLT "TYRON" Smith when he comes back with all those OLTs? SIMPLE FIX: "IF" "TYLER" Smith is playing GOOD / GREAT at OLT and Peters is playing GOOD / GREAT at OLG - a good chance at both - "TYRON" Smith is coming back so late in the season, just sit him! "IF" "TYRON" Smith and Peters wants to come back next year, I wouldn't be against that. I just wouldn't BANK ON either one anymore, due to "AGE" and "INJURY HISTORY", etc. Since the backups haven't established themselves yet, I wouldn't BANK ON them, either! Hence, spending a 1st., 2nd. or 3rd. round pick on another OL in '23. No more of those 5th., 6th., and 7th. round "GROOM" OL.

I'm frustrated with all of you guys making tapes propping up only Tyler Smith and now Jason Peters while bashing Matt Farniok. I'm seeing a complete opposite of what many of you are seeing, and that's because I was a two time All State high school Olineman from the 80s who also played semi-pro, so I certainly know a thing or two when it comes to the Oline. I thought Farniok totally dominated against the Giants, and it is frustrating to not see anyone giving him proper kudos. BTW, you make so many bad assessments on Peters' plays, it's clear you are making excuses to prop him up. You are so wrong on several of his attempted blocks.

I will say this he’s not playing no worse than Tyrone!

They actually did throw the flag on that first play you broke down and it definitely was a hold. I wish they were throwing the flag on obvious calls all night but they seemed to be blind to the Gnats DB's tackling and holding Noah Brown for some reason. I guess he's not a big enough star to get those obvious calls

Tyler is a athletic nasty run blocker but he will struggle against top 15 pass rusher. His technique has many flaws. With each game he will get better.

That 1st play that you showed is unequivocal proof that the game is rigged because there were two referees sitting there looking at the obvious hold and did nothing!

Is every player great? This is all your videos seem to show. Do you plan on having balanced videos? What about guys that are not playing well that all thought would be.

Another year, another year Cowboys' fan scream Jerry Jones made ANOTHER huge mistake in the NFL draft! Like expecting hot weather in July! And yet another year, Cowboys fans were dead wrong! Heard it in April and May......Tyler Smith is a terrible pick.. Look at all those penalties. Big stiff! HMM. Last year. Micah Parsons is a dud! Who wants another so so linebacker? Micah is a stud! Maybe the guys writing all the big checks know what they're doing.............(sometimes).
