I like how you look at the current roster first before diving in to the rookie. Team fit is probably the most important thing for rookie success. Good stuff 👍 Something you might want to add since you look at the current roster is how they fit into the current roster and what they might add to it at the end.
So, why'd the Giants draft another receiver Jones can't throw to instead of drafting Jones' replacement? If anything this is proving that Jones is the problem, not the receivers.
I think so as well, he should require a lot of attention. Which should open other areas as well, hopefully he can find those soft spots and take advantage of it.
@@isaiahevans963 I felt that way last year.. i was all hyped up.. we had a TE that was supposed to be a game changer, we had Hyatt, Slayton, Shepperd, Robinson, Hodgins, Ford-Weaton, ect.. We had Barkley .. we were supposed to be fat with skill and speed.. 3 QB's ALL were injured because of a bad O-line coach and a really bad o-line.. I am not sold on our o-line at this point.. I am not going to get all hyped up again until I see our first real game.. I love the Giants, been a fan since 1978.. But we have not had a real O-Line in almost 10 years.. Bad coaching, no real investment in the o-line.. DJ has had 3 coaches in the few years he has been with the team.. Hard to be great when there isn't any consistency.. I am hoping and wishing for a much better 2024 season
@@kenma8806 my opinion, this is a NFC playoff team. I was in the same boat as you last year with the speed concept. But we all knew deep down we put to much hope in Evan Neal, a rookie center, & 2 ?'s at LG & RG and paid for it. I agree we don't know until game 1, truly I respect that remark and yes I'm am worried about the pace of the O-line chemistry. But investments were made this time, Defense is up, WR core is up, O-Line is up (hopefully). This could be DJ underdog story if they put it together.
It seems to me every time the showed DJ throwing every time he has time he hit a nice long ball this proves to me it's the o line with time DJ can throw the ball i mean 85 sacks even Mahomes would not last the season 😂😂😂
Malik Nabers like Jalin Hyatt will be average at best with Daniel Jones as his QB.Hopefully Drew Lock wins the starting QB spot because the last thing we need is Jones as our starting QB and him getting injured and being a $23M cap hit next season.

If we beat Washington 2x of NOT bye bye Daboll and Schoen. btw a little economics lesson for you. If Schoen had tagged Jones and signed Saquon to a multi year deal Eagles wouldn't be favorites to win NFC and we'd still have 2023 Pro Bowl DB Julian Love out of Notre Dame and we might have had a shot at re-signing X-Man. Instead we still have one of the WORST QBs EVER costing $47M this season when he's NOT worth $4.7M. Maybe just maybe we could have signed Cousins away from Atlanta. Now that's a real QB
