I think he's the best receiver in the class. He just moves differently than the rest. Crazy acceleration. He gets separation, catches the ball, then gets more separation
I’m a bit worried about his ability to beat press coverage in the nfl. Most of his snaps are from the slot or against off coverage so there’s not a ton of film against really physical guys at the line. Like marv has tons of tape as the X playing on the line and beating press.
MHJ Vs Nabers Speed - Nabers Explosiveness - Nabers Elusiveness - Nabers Agility - Nabers Strength - MHJ Route Running - MHJ Deep Threat - Nabers Hands - MHJ Jumpball - MHJ Vs Press - MHJ After The Catch - Nabers Marv’s technique along with size and athleticism is what makes him basically a guaranteed Top 10 NFL Receiver But Nabers has traits that EASILY translate to the NFL. Both guys will have 1300+ receiving yards as rookies. They are that good
0:05 - Ok never seen this. People say he's raw. Kid is ridiculously polished. Doesn't count but this demonstrates spectacular ball skills, footwork and RECEIVER FEEL/FLUIDITY. It's a thing, a very important one.
I agree he isn't raw at all, he just relies on his speed and doesn't need to do much other technical stuff right now because he is faster and twitchier than 99% of players
There is a lot to like with Daniels. But top 5 in the draft QB he isn't IMO. He might turn out great, but no way am I taking him #2 overall or ahead of Maye.
The main thing I learned from this reel is that Jayden Daniels is incredibly overrated. He missed Nabers wide open and/or was WAY late on so many throws. If he's hitting him in stride or throwing with better anticipation Nabers is probably breaking NCAA records. Even a lot of the huge plays were underthrown and Nabers had to wait on the ball.
@@WheresWaldo05 We will never get another Megatron. Never. But I think you are truly downplaying Nabers, he is open it feels like every play. He has rare, unreal speed which makes him unplayable for most cbs (especially when in slot). His hands are also ridiculous (has amazing late hands), and his route running is top tier as well. I think he's arguably wr1 in this class and a top 5 pick.
@@WheresWaldo05 I do not see the body catching you are referring on film. I am not aware of Nabers' 40 time but unless it is sub 4.25, there's no way you believe he looks a "tad slower," he absolutely zooms on tape.
He’s making most of his plays against the third cornerback. Good game planning but id like to see him face the number one more often as the X receiver. That’s where the one on ones happen.
These SEC defenses gave him all the cushion in the world to let him work. Looks like he slows down heavily against aggressive CBs. Honestly don’t see all the hype. His get off speed average. Footwork average. Route running average. How’s he being drafted over Odunze in mocks???
Sometimes you have to put some analysis on what you yourself are saying. If the SEC coordinators kept giving him cushion like you said, why in the world would they do that if he's so average? Is every single one of them just dumb?
Here's an idea: Damn, all LSU does is produce top rated Receivers! Why not trade Justin Jefferson, for multiple high draft choices, keep our #11, & #23, plus the extra #1's & #2's for JJ, & draft Malik Nabers, along with our future QB. SKOL!
Y'alls GM is too stupid to pull that move. Y'all already loss diggs and we're lucky to replace him and thielen at the right time. He's asking for way too much in return for JJ. I heard your' gm already turned down 2 first for Jettas. Wild imo
