@@proudsellout484 It's tough, he's got to get more comfortable in the pocket... But, that isn't to big of a concern since he's only a rookie. The Pro's however are: -He's not afraid to take a hit -He's got a nice arm, just need to get the timing right with his WR's -He doesn't hold on to the ball for to long and will check it down.

@@FilmStudyForRookies I agree. If he can prove he can get the deep ball. His football IQ will take him the rest of the way.

@@FilmStudyForRookies Bagent is truly awesome for a rookie, and with good mental, he could become a starter or even Pro Bowl material. Here are some cons I've observed from watching him in real time: - Good pocket awareness, but can get snuck up on by the blind side rush, which affects his comfort in there. - Under some pressure, his throwing mechanics can get compromised, resulting in some wobbly and floaty balls coming out of his hand. - He underestimates the capabilities of the Cover 2 cornerback and has made a few questionable throws on flat or short out routes against the coverage, leading to interceptions or near-ones. - Lacks some trust in some of the WR corps, which is making him less anticipatory on his throws than he used to be.

Tyson shows that he belongs in the NFL. At the very least, he will be a good quality #2QB for some team. Staying cool in the pocket, throwing a good pass knowing he will be hit, and then running the next play like he was never hit. The kid is both smart and tough. I am just a Bears fan, but to my untrained eye, Bagent looks pretty good.

Tyson has a quick release and goes through his progressions fast he's the wild card. Fields can't stay on the field, is slow on making progressions and has a long wind up these are the Facts. Going forward we need to see what Tyson is about so let him start, only then we'll know who's in who's out and who we want.

It'll be interesting to watch, with Fields it feels like a rollercoaster... When he's playing his best he's on top of the league... But when it's not his best it just feels like they never got past the starting gate.

This week is "No Excuse week" ! He has a better than average O line. Solid Running Backs available. And a defence playing #14 ranked results. We shall see. FIELD'S is like a Carpenter that has all the BEST tools, but nothing to show for it. Too hot No wood because its over priced. Not enough power because it blows a circuit. NOW EXCUSES. NOW BUILD ME SOMETHING SO WE CAN START SETTING THE TABLE.

🤡 Bagent is a GREAT story and has a nice shot to become a longtime backup. He’s NOT, however, a franchise QB and doesn’t come anywhere close to Fields’ in ceiling.

How come Eberflus not under evaluation? Guy lost his DC and running backs coach in same season.NFL QB position will be Black Americans in another few years. Only White guys like Josh Allen, Joe Burrow, Trevor Lawrence, Will Levitt will be able to compete. They have rifles for arms. Bagent lacks arm strength. Not champion arm wrestler like his dad.

The play at 5:18 where he could have had Tyler Scott over the middle. That's the kind of play you can force the safety to go after Moore by looking him in that direction. But knowing you're going over the middle once you see him commit.

@@FilmStudyForRookies It's a very controversial issue but I think Poles should and will trade down from the #1 pick, not because it worked out last year, but everything he does shows that he does not suffer overpriced players gladly (Eddie Goldman, Alan Robinson, Akiem Hicks, Robert Quinn, et al ... we loved all of them but their cost and value propositions didn't meet his team's timeline). The #1 overall draft pick is a huge cost, and it's paid for an NFL-untested player, and if he's a QB, you've got a 50/50 chance he's not really worth it, so trade down for a haul of picks/players, some of which are statistically likely to pan out. By the above reasoning, Fields also does not merit the 5th year option, but it's just one year, and he might be their best alternative for now, and they could still draft a QB later on Day 1 or 2, and Fields might be good enough on a great team, and they could also trade him after the 23 or 24 season. Eddie Jackson and Cody Whithair are overpaid this year, but they must have some veterans on the field, so Poles is probably not doctrinaire or knee-jerk once he does his assessment.

That throw at 3:35 can't be made with a weak arm. 40+ yard throw while on the run...right where it needed to be. Wish DJ would have got his other hand up.... He's not outthrowing half the league....but this "weak arm" garbage needs to be put to bed. He makes quick decisions based on what he see's BEFORE the snap.....and quicky changes that decision if needed post snap. That's a requirement for an NFL QB.....and he's go it.

It’s not really about how far you can throw it, it’s about how well you drive the ball in tight coverage or small windows. To that, you kinda see the limitations when he’s throwing the ball outside the numbers to the sidelines, CBs are able to jump those rather easily. A quick contrast is Field’s last TD to Moore in TNF…he put the ball in the right place and drove it which made the great coverage nonexistent for the most part.

I would rather have Tyson than Bryce Young. I don’t like his attitude and I don’t like his size. The fact that the Bears have this kid as a walk on and we have young as the first overall pick, well also giving up DJ Moore and likely someone like Marvin Harrison. Junior next year is disgusting. To me, it is the worst trade in Panthers history. You literally could’ve had a comparable quarterback, has an unsigned free agent rookie, and you gave up all that stuff for young. Young is not the guy not even close. Horrible talent evaluation.

You don't show it his 1st third down pass should have been intercepted. Wasn't intercepted because it was tipped by another defensive player. The QB School has a different opinion of Bagent perfomance. Bagent has proven that he is an NFL backup quarterback that can keep you in a couple of games while your #1 is hurt. I'm gonna guess you're talking about the play. When Deion Jones tipped it when he was targeting the Tight End on the out route. I didn't praise the guy, if you look at the comments I said his pro is his toughness... But he's gotta get better footwork in the pocket. I try to be mostly positive about guys I review lol. Idk if you watch Ocho and Shannon Sharpe, QB School is Shannon and I consider myself more like Ocho lol

Watch what the QB school said about Justin in his first 3 games and know that was him tryna be nice as possible. Go watch what Kurt Warner and Erik Kramer said about Tyson. Like I’m not hyping the guy up I just get irritated how it’s always the same people that get all in a tizzy about him and try to attach these backup ceilings cuz they in love with Justin. There’s also really no such thing has should have been intercepted in the context of two defenders going for the ball and one tipping it away. It was a turnover worthy throw something Justin has seen himself be worst 3 in the league in regards to so let’s chill and see what happens going forward.

He's proven he's a backup after FOUR GAMES?! 🤣😂 You do realize he's 2-2 right? ONE game or ONE play doesn't define a QB as you should know. EVERY QB makes bad decisions and throws INT's. NOBODY can predict the future and say what Bagent can or can't do, he will show us on the field, period! JF1 has already shown us who he is, and he ISN'T the QB we expected in year 3. I think it's time to move on and draft a QB in 2024.

Help me understand how a pro football fan can push for a 5 year D2 college QB over a 5 star recruit that played for Ohio State? Before Vikings game Fields had passed for 8 touchdowns and 617 yards. Panthers depleted defense held the greatest D2 college QB of all time to just 16 points. C J Stroud was Fields backup at Ohio State. And credits his success to Fields. If Getsy did not coach senior bowl Bagent would not be on Bears roster. As Bears season ticket holders we don't want to see a D2 college player playing for the Bears. Trade Bagent for some draft picks

No, trade Fields Bears fan like Bagent because: He has a quick release, reads defenses, moves the sticks, has great pocket presence and his sack ratio is 2nd best in the league.
