Film Study: Why Seahawks Charles Cross FLASHED vs Broncos 

Cross was rated number one by all football analyst in week one and should get offensive player of the week ..he's got my vote !!

Cross had turf toe for most of last season, it definitely impacted his play.

Cross looked good. Williams looked good. Everyone else was terrible. I think Bradford had 3 holding penalties and a false start yesterday. Tomlinson looks like his best days are behind him. Fant wasn't exactly lighting the field on fire before he got hurt. The adjustments in the second half helped a ton. It's going to be tough sledding for Grubb and Huff to make sure the guys are in position to make plays.

What makes that touchdown play even better is the linebacker he buried is Cody Barton, former Seahawk lol

It blows my mind so many (Hawks fans) were calling Cross a bust. He was drafted at TWENTY ONE YEARS OLD... He played injured through about 50% of last year... this guy is going to command a MASSIVE salary and be one of the routine PBOWL/All Pro LTs after this year.

Watching this shows us Cross and Williams are solid, the rest are a liability. I’d love to see Haynes get the start Sunday in place of Tomlinson or Bradford. We need a better right tackle too.

Huff and Grubb unlocking his true potential. He came out of college being known for pass protection, it’s awesome to see his progression with run blocking. I will note he was dealing with turf toe almost the entire season last year, so that hampered him

Three things: 1. Cross is now hitting his full potential YR3. 2. Cross was also hurt last year. 3. The new offensive line scheme now plays to Cross’ strengths and abilities.

As a Seahawk fan the beat reporters were pretty vocal about how good Cross looked and how bad the rest of the o-line looked all training camp.

In most of those clips we can see bradford/forsythe getting worked. How many times does bradford end up facing backwards, or doing essentially nothing? Can you do one of these showing the liabilities on the right side of the line?

His situational awareness and fundamental technique was DIALED IN!!!! And...he wasn't dodgin' no smoke! O-line, get like him!!!!! C' mon Hawks, help that backfield out!

Hopefully Abe Lucas can get healthy at RT as well. He too has looked good when he's out there but our guards certainly need work, they were very week in this game.

Cross was fantastic and he was already good with injury. RT yes, need some improvement but at least Geno can see his right side better and can scrabble if needed. Cant do that on the left if you don't see it. New England another week.

Tomlinson has gotta go. How many times has this team brought in a cheap older guard and had them be embarrassing. If you're going to deal with bad guard play, at least have it be a young guy who can still learn.

Its crazy cause we drafted him because he was good at pass blocking but most his grade was from run blocking this game

At 44 sec. Why do I see #75 Bradford just run right by his assignment block on #49? Wtf? Then I watched Foresight do the same thing!! Do they get lost blocking left? 🤷🏾‍♂️🤯🤔🤪 Sorry I know it's not what I'm supposed to be looking at...lmao. CC did look a lot more aggressive and quick footed!! He's not leaning as much and is using his feet to get the positioning he needs. Awesome!! Bro, what if you do assistance videos?? Like what I saw in Foresight and Bradford. Pointing those issues out could help them or other linemen in their techniques and thought process. You do a great job of pointing out the talent in players, but what about pointing out the issues in players. It could be educational videos. Bradford needs more time. Forsyth is not the depth they need. Williams was hit and miss. Olu needs to be given playing time somewhere. Cross looked good. But they won and ran the ball doing it. Better. Nix wasn't ready and we should have put this away early.

I wanna see more targets to JSN and I wanna see more designed plays to Jake Bobo! And more Noah fant, you have too many weapons to not be using any of them… you have a veriety of things you can be taking advantage of, they should have been able to put up 30+ on that team
