If that high note of hers has a frequency that matches the resonant frequency of the bird's body, then the bird will begin sympathetically vibrating at that frequency until it explodes. It's the same reason that glass shatters when singers hit certain frequencies: the glass vibrates at the same frequency as the note until the glass can no longer withstand the pressure.

At one point in the first movie Shrek inflates a frog like a balloon and later it floats away. This lead my girlfriend and I to debate weather Shrek breaths hydrogen or if i thing to much about cartoons from the early 2000s, so thank you Mat Pat for helping me win that debate.
