I had seen this cartoon before on videocassette at a local Randall's grocery store in their videocassette rental section (along with Garfield, GI Joe, Transformers, Jem & the Holograms, Lady LovelyLocks, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, ThunderCats, Scooby-Doo, Charlie Brown, Barbie and Jim Henson's Fraggle Rock) while out with my grandmother (a few years ago) but rented "Yogi's Treasure Hunt" instead.
this cartoon was based off a live action Ghostbusters TV series in the 1970's. it had nothing to do with the Ghostbusters movie We all known and love........and it's the reason why the Ghostbusters cartoon based off the movie was called "The Real Ghostbusters" to seperate it from the Filmation version.
This is incredibly wrong. This cartoon was made to capitalize on the popularity of the movies while they could. They owned the rights to the name Ghostbusters and used it to their full advantage as a cashgrab. This is not speculation, you can just Google it. You've been bamboozled.
@@gurshu12 Well, yes and no. It was Filmation that was "bamboozled" by Columbia Pictures, and this was an attempt to recoup the compensation they were cheated out of.
@@darkscorpionomega It absolutely will happen. And it will be woke BS. Anyone who thinks that it isn't possible would have probably once upon a time, thought that the OTHER Ghostbusters couldn't have been injected with PC politics either. (And really, it SHOULDN'T have ever been possible).
