Color saturation looks fantastic, the sound is great too. Just like being there on the boat. Would love to see a short segment about the new sound setup perhaps in one of your upcoming videos. I did a little research into some sound setups and i didnt see where it was possible to bluethooth a mic to the gopro directly and a cage makes it no longer waterproof. ?? Still great stuff though.

Yes it is not completely waterproof with the cage, but it does cover the battery area very well. I am sure it is still shower proof, just do not use it under water. I am still playing around with it to try and get the best out of it. I am only recording in 1080 at the moment, it does record in 5K but trying to edit 5K on my laptop and the space required makes it unrealistic to use really.

The 1080 looks fine on my phone and when mirroring to my 24 in tv. My Samsung 42 upscales to 4k anyway so its all good, just hope it doesn't decide to go for a swim in the canal. 😢

I'm not so sure you have that camera setup to record HD video properly - worth a check. Your video doesn't look like its proper HD -1920x1080 - to me. Sound is great btw

I have it set at 1080. It will record in 5k but the editing is a nightmare at 5k and the space required is emence just for a short video
