THAT MOMENT.. after the bride shot when you wanted to say something to camera but stopped yourself and mentioned a pay wall... Us videographers knew exactly what you wanted to vent :P
Excellent work, guys. It's great that you had 2+ cams at a time. The 85 has such a nice look, but forces you to be a step or two back so it's good to have the other shots cover for in frame interruptions. Having the team produce reel time results is real service and satisfaction boost for the bride & groom.
That was an incredible video! Try using a SmallRig or Juice Junkie sled with a Sony NP-F990 battery. I use them on my remote cameras that I can't constantly watch. Get wait for the next video.😊
Photgraphed many weddings but this is the first time I sit through an enjoyable full-day BTS of a wedding filming! VERY good stuff! Good "apology" on dropping the gear - but most of all... that paywall you were talking about? When y'all dropping it? I want to know what was to be said!!
Would you be able to share your settings on your next wedding video so that way we can see everything in the moment what ND filter , what setting, what lens in the moment on the wedding day & also if you have Sony a7iv please used it to see how you can perform a wedding ❤❤❤❤
Love seeing how you guys work. Something I'm still coming out of my shell is is directing couples. My wife and I are a wedding photo/video team, she often takes the lead as the photographer. Would like to know more about how you guys direct couples? Also, any chance you'll be offering that 60% discount sometime in the near future for your course? I'm keen to enroll!
been a photographer for 15 years now you don't need that much room in the front during ceremony lol the only time you might block the camera is when you are back away as the bride approaches
First thing i do on a wedding location is reach out to the photographers then organise our shoot one will compose the pose we all take time taking our shots one after another havent had issues with anyone but for runing into shots during the events proper that one is sure but is minimal we watch well before we move
DUUUUDE "THE Tenneson" is in the house! Hey tenneson, did they get you your custom pin yet? Jk Super cool though to see the idaho creators and the utah creators joining forces. More of it please! Awesome vid as usual jake and nate, thanks for the vid! See you at the mapleton firework show i'm filming on sat? (im in utah right now)
Would love to see more about filming speeches/toasts! I seem to run into the problem of 'where to place the toast giver' with certain seating layouts. Such as when the sweetheart table is on one side of the room and all the guests on the other.
First, video is amazing, thanks for sharing !!!! Second , on 7:15 - - - - one of your cameras is Magenta, the other one is green, and the contrast level of the image is different , on the camera with the Magenta look is more dark in the shadows :) . My comment is not negative it is just you remember on your next shooting to sync WB and check out contrast. No matter of that, you made amazing job !!! AWESOME !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A dummy battery with a usb connection to a power bank is a lighter option than a v-mount. You can attach the power bank to the gimbal with a smallrig power bank holder.
Didn't you experience any overheating issues on the static Sony ZV E1 cameras in bright sun at the ceremony? A few days ago, I had huge issues on my Sony A7 IV (B-Cam on Tripod - XAVC HS 4k 60p - died 3 times in 45 minutes - weather was about 85° Fahrenheit / 28° Celsius, bright sun, little to no wind) ... I am a bit clueless, if it was my fault and what I exactly could do better (currently building some umbrella setup to protect the body from direct sunlight)
The work is really wonderful. The teamwork is coordinated. Everyone is professional. Thank you. I have benefited a lot Can you give me the name or account of the photographer?
Love these vids .. awsome job as usual . I'm sure you already said but are you shooting SLOG 3 or SLOG 2. @ 60 fps for most of it except for 1st look /speeches etc
Hy brothers can I know your 4k settings 1) xavc s or any other format ?? 2) which PP do you shoot ?? 3) for editing which software do you suggest 4) suggestion for grains in s-log 3
As someone that has done both video and photography for weddings, you HAVE to work together because they are paying BOTH of you to capture the moments. And believe it or not, the photos are going to be the deliverables that are blown up, put on walls, framed, and even thumbed through in 100 years. The video could likely be forgotten. So don't shame the photographers for doing their jobs either.
Couldn’t agree more - we are the world’s biggest advocates for photographers. We love all of our photographers, especially the one from this wedding - she was great. Not sure where you thought we were “shaming” them. We loved working with them
Anton Bauer Titon Base Battery I use for my fx30 with my rs2 check it out I like because I didn’t want a big rig was looking for light weight run and gun type :)
14:16 Jake: "I am...so...freaking...hot" Me: "Wow, okay, this just turned into a self-affirmation video 😳" Jake: "I just realized this entire day is outside. I'm gonna burn." Me: "Ohhhhhh 😂"
Love your videos! How did the ZVe1 work out. I had a bad experience with one and returned it. I got aa red screen an 5 minutes of footage was lost. happed twice. Also I never used it out doors. Did you have any over heating issues? Keep up the good work!
Uh... audio cuts out at 26:02 and comes back at 26:21 I'm no lip reader, but I'm pretty sure Jake said, "oohshop ooh shop more sto half the time, I wanna move havabuh thabusto la... it's my job."
At 7:37 I noticed some color differences between Jake and Nate footage specially the sky and the bride skin tone while both cameras were FX3. Is the filter causing these differences?
I will really like to ask, with events like this, how long is your final wedding project, does the couple never ask for the whole event to be covered? I'm asking because I'm a wedding videographer in Africa and our weddings are quite really long. Couples want to have everything shot and edited into a master video. It's a bit impossible to leave out anything.
@@nateteahan cool thanks! thats for skintones right, do you use zebra levels 94+ for shooting lets say venue shots or just no people/skintones involved?
Use Hollyland Solidcom C1 Pros instead of a walkie talkie. Get a dedicated guy for drone/fpv. You got lucky with the lighting but not every wedding is like this. See the last part when they did a line. You have no light there other than ambient. Also whenever there is a sun, use a scrim or panel diffuser. Audio also needs a backup. Luxury weddings are zero f*ck ups with audio. ZV-E1's are a risky choice. IMO, this could be better. Not really a way to film a luxury wedding. This is how 90% of people film.
