Saw Filter at their prime in NY and the sound engineer many many years ago. The OG band, Filter was pure amazement. The sound quality in itself was superb. His vocals I remember back then was a bit stronger, more raw, and the sound was so exquisite. They smelled great too. He is still great, but I think people were so lucky back then to see these bands at their prime. Richard Patrick is a living legend.
That was so cool of him to do that with the camera! I understand some artists want you to “be in the moment” and off your phones but you use your phone to make memories!!
I seen them in the 90s. they rocked the place... its was with Korn and Limp Bizcuit. these guys where super loud! git the mosh pit going pretty bad ass...
Saw them at the Odeum, Villa Park. What was funny was they played this song 5 maybe 6 times. They mixed in their others. But replaying a great song is what we all do. They improvised too, it was a fun show. Halloween, might have been part of the same local tour!
Very cool of him to do that for the crowd. One thing I noticed... man this dude killed his voice in the 90s with the screaming vocals. Still sounds good, but different.
The part I like most, the screaming, still spot on. Works for me. Also some stuff is likely all autotune on the records anyways. Record, lols, I am showing my age!
sexy man, love ya heaps, you age as well as a good cheese and wine, you never age, you are The Man, with The Voice, with the best guitars, lyrics and I love ya since ya started, Lana from Adelaide, The Gov 9 April 2024, watch my videos of the gig on youtube
He did hit the record button...here is the video from that phone. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8DIz0fd9qOY.html Terrible audio...I should have handed him my phone.
