Filter in when...Short Bus was released and there other albums around then... they were the most played band on nearly all the stations. Every single song was fantastic.
It goes to show that most people only listen to what's rammed down their throat. If this was a Robbie Williams song it would be fucking massive. Filter write awesome songs and no one knows!
I remember picking this album at Target. A few years later my daughter was born. This song always brought my little rockstar to mind. Thank you for always being in my corner when i need you. Time flies friend. Take lots of Polaroid pictures
This whole album got me through a really, really bad period of depression. I literally listened to this song and Burn It for 3 months straight. If there is another single, I would kill for it to be Burn It.
Music today just doesn’t surprise me in anyway! Unlike this! I have listened to Filter for years, but this song I did not know! So I was surprised! Just perfect!
The tried and true "chan-chan-chan-chan" acoustic motive for most of Filter's mellow songs, but damn they're all so great and well produced! Keep doing more like these!
I remember listening to this song a few years back. The first time was when I left the Army and the song came on once I saw the Ft. Benning sign past me. I listened to it again when I went into Boston after coming back from a recruiter’s office in Springfield to try to get back in but then realized what I was doing. I love the army but it isn’t for me. And then once when I worked at a job that at the time I loved and had a lot of good memories from.
Beautiful song and equally beautiful video. Filter step outside the box often; this is why I keep coming back to them. Huge respect for Richard Patrick. Saw Filter live in Sydney just a few nights ago (Feb 2014) and they played this song. Fabulous!
Another excellent album from Richard P. aka Filter... It's just amazing his band isn't more popular because he's an outstanding song writer/performer/producer. Thank you Richard Patrick for continuing to make music...I never get tired of it....
This is something special. This isn't just a great song or a cool track. This is masterpiece in just over 4 minutes. The song and the video are an absolute work of art and, to be honest, I think it just might be the best Filter song (although there's a lot of contemplation that goes with that). I don't know how you guys managed to come back with such conviction, but I'm so glad you did. I needed this music in my life.
One of the best bands. I've been listening to then since the 90's. I've played Title of the Record end-to-end more than any other album. He kind of looks like an angry Conan O'Brien! Sick Puppies is also pretty under rated.
Always been an underrated group...ive liked these guys for over 15 years. I would love to go back to the late 90's when I was just discovering groups like Filter, Opeth, Katatonia, Porcupine Tree, etc.
Filter overall and especially this song here have once again proven that you can search for good music for a really endless time and even find it. Although I actually find it really hard that I found Filter rather by chance. I've seen the name so many times on festival shirts but never had the idea that this is such good music.
Great band, wonderful song. I remember seeing them with the original line-up way back in the early nineties. They were really heavy. Young men full of life with powerful tube amps cranked. There's nothing like that sound. Cheers !
WOW. Filters been a long time favorite for me.....I cant believe I didnt know they had new music! What a great song. Video doesnt quite match the words though....
Awesome song and awesome video. This is one of the better albums the band has made. Also to say this doesn't fit is totally wrong. They have done stuff like this in the past, but this one really does belong on the album!
I like the wide shots of all the natural landscapes, and the bird and coyote (?) are beautiful. The song itself...it's a bit different than some of their other music, but I still like it.
First comment, first one in, and last one to leave. Can't stop clicking replay! By far, this song and video are the best surprises of the night. Keep making music Filter.
