My Filter Queen was built in 1976, and I bought it used in 1985 for $75CAD. After 37 years of faultless operation, for some reason it stopped working today (June 3, 2022). I figured it was time to move on, and so I bought a cordless model online. Not wanting to simply throw my Queen in the garbage, I called a local repair shop and asked if they could use it, they said sure. I brought it to the shop and said my final farewell. It was like losing a loyal, old friend. The shop owner said that they would get it back to working condition and that it would make someone very happy - that made my day. Outstanding product.
