When I watch your videos, I always learn something new about UK food! I've never heard before "Flapjack", it sounds goods and I'm sure it tastes super good 😁
Oh man when I saw these on your Instagram yesterday I was like, gotta watch this as soon as it’s posted!! Looks epic, and I love putting chips in my treats! Just made potato chip Rice Krispies and they were epic!!
personally I think maple syrup might be closer in flavor (but still quite different and definitely not the same thing).....only problem is that it's runnier than golden syrup.
Kind of weird.. was thinking when you'll make flapjacks. I make them quite a lot..made some yesterday! but i know yours will be tastier and here it is! Thankyou 😊
Yum, looks delicious (probably because of the colours, usually I'm not such a big fan of mixing salty and sweet treats together)! Did anyone else understand "some crispy Eminems" instead of "M&M's"? 🤔😅probably tasty, too😂 Love and blessings from Germany,Jemma! ❤️✨
I am french and I love flapjack!!! If I don't want to put potato crisps inside, must I replace them by anything else or just put porridge oats? thanks for advance to answer me ;) I love your videos Jemma, your recipes are wonderful!!!!
So in the US we use the names pancakes and flapjacks interchangeably. BUT this recipe is much more like a granola bar or some would call this particular one a monster bar 😍
Waited up all night to be the first to watch and comment on it but turns out 600 people beat me to it......Anyways your recipes are FAB as usual......Thanks for sharing 😚😄
Part of me is delighted when British cooking channels suggest American substitutions and part of me doesn’t want you to cater to our laziness and make us look it up!
This recipe is a perfect match with my little my little brother, such a weirdo😏he crated waaaaaaay filthier stuff but this recipe is filthy enough for me
Ok. I need a British English to American English translation of "baking paper" (I've also heard her use "grease-proof paper") are these the equivalent of what I would call "parchment paper" (paper impregnated with silicone used as a non-stick baking surface.)
Its not really a recipe, its unrefined sucrose and its part of one of the stages of sugar production. You can really only substitute it for something else, like maple syrup, molasses, corn syrup or honey. None will taste the same, but it will still taste really good. Personally I think the taste of maple syrup is closest but the consistency is more like honey (but even then, maple syrup is still quite different). It's a bit like asking for a recipe for honey. There isn't really one.
Hey jemma I have a question for your Q/A I know you love delicious treats but I was just wondering do you eat healthy outside of those delicous treats you eat and how do you stay so skinny while running a cupcake shop😄 best wishes Have a great day.
Hi good morning , I would love to purchase the Cupcake Jemma apron for my mum as a gift for Mothers Day . But I didn't know how to go about it as I'm staying in Singapore . Pls advice. Thank you and hope to hear from you soon ❤️
This is great I love ur recipes. This might be a weird request but Iv only ever found ur recipes easy to follow. Any chance of creating a easy to follow fruit leather recipe! Pls Pls pls
shoba anneka This has got a lot of additions. Normally flapjacks are pretty fragile, but flour adds a little strength to the underlying flapjack, making it less likely to crumble under the weight of all the extras.
Geek4Eva gotcha. We like things a lot sweeter than the rest of the world 😂 so these remind me of our granola bars. I guess I better make these flapjacks so I can see the difference for myself 😆
