Ehhh.. more like a lack of effort and long rebounds because Sudan shoots a lot of outside shots. Physically though USA was obviously superior but Sudan wasn’t that far off and put in much more effort while the U.S turned it off and on when they felt like it.

If you watched the replay after this, you could also see that derrick white went up and altered the shot. Jones missed it long initially (maybe on purpose, better help on the weak side that his own side so might as well put a little extra on it if the look isn't clean), but then the putback attempt was stopped by derrick white but also because two south sudanese guys both tried to go for it, ended up being stuffed by the rim. Then, edwards put a hand in (probably an uncalled foul) to stop the third attempt. But yeah you're right, edwards allowing his guy to push him out the way caused too much traffic
