the worst thing about flat sections in ultras, is you feel stooopid walking 😂

Not sure if you've thought of this but if you have some compression sleeves, you can make them into mittens by doubling/tripling/quadrupling them inside out. You then just put your hand in the sleeve and pull it up and then back on itself. To seal it (if needed) put a twist at your finger tips and pull back over your hand. Very light.

Bad explanation. Pull sleeve up arm but leave the cuff in the palm of your hand covering your thumb. Pull sleeve back over itself and past your finger tips. Twist and pull the remainder back up over your hand. You'll likely need your mouth/teeth to hold the second glove when you do the twist and pull back.

They are talking about swimming and drinking water out of the Rio de Flag at Picture Canyon. I’m sure that it would be fine to filter, but there just seems like something wrong swimming and drinking the water coming out of the sewage treatment plant.

I love it up north here I don’t get out and run much but I spend all my free time hiking and backpacking I found a cave underground that looks man made I can’t find any info on it either I have yet to go into it

Is Cocodona including segments (or all?) of the "Flagstaff Loop Trail"? I did that whole thing (45-ish miles) on MTB a few months back and while it was great, it'd be *amazing* for a run.

Jamil - I just signed up for EldenCrest 38 2025... After watching this video and seeing how confusing it is (all those gates!) I am concerned I will get get lost on race day :( Esp if i'm in the dark. Do you have any tips?
