Drops down to distract the flag guy so his teammate can get the kills bottom base (you can tell this was the plan because of where he fell down), then immediately runs flag to the weak side securing the cap. It's the little details that sway games. No coincidence he's the winningest player of all time.

No doubt this Final Boss was beast, but it COULD NOT beat the Final Boss of 05-06. Walshy, and the Ogre twins plus a round out from Saiyan and later Strongside.

I get chills whenever I watch this. FB will always be legendary.

343 is almost Bungie. Most of the people in 343 come from Bungie and worked at earlier Halo games.

@1chrissymc - Officially the players decide who gets how much. 100k could easily be split five ways into 20k apiece, but coaches rarely get that much.

In H2 FB only had to contend with Carbon. In H3 FB had to contend with many top teams. Halo 2 was a great competitive game but the level of competition wasn't on par with Halo 3 MLG. Look at H4 right now, Ambush could win every single event till h5 and it wouldn't compare to 2010 FB (even though they only won 3) cuz the competition is less. And H3 FB won when the competition was at its highest AND when the meta-game was at its most evolved point.
