3:00 sounds like the turning point for the song, like the hunter finally gains an edge over the final boss, the organ comes back for one final attempt, but then proof of a hero just overwhelms it, signifying our victory

can we just appreciate how much of an absolute chad the admirale is in the cutscene before the figth, he didnt'n even blink when a giant boulder was thrown at full force at him by that absolute unit of a monster, didn't even flinch when he was staring down the devil himself he was looking at him dead in the eyes ! what an absolute legen !

"The clouds will part, the stars will shine. Everlasting shadow begone!" That one moment ensured that Fiorayne wouldn't leave my side during another support survey ever again. We hunted to literal hell and back. I was proud to be by her side by the end of this DLC. One story ends, another begins.

What i love about this theme is that instead of being the usual “im the big hero who can kill anything fuck you” proof of a hero, it instead feels like you’re remembering all the things you’ve done, everything that’s lead up to this moment. All the failures and successes led up to this moment, and you realize that this is the only chance you have to kill this thing, the only chance to end it all, so you have to try and persevere, and give it your all!

It’s all fun and games until the archdemon of the abyss turns your whole screen red.

When proof of a hero came on at the end it brought back memories or feelings of my fight with Fatalis in World. Struggling with Fatalis that first day was painful but committed to do it solo. I almost cried when I got to the point where the music kicked on during that fight I was like "No way I am failing now". Rare that video game hits with deep emotion while playing the game. Love it that they did the same for this fight even though I didn't experience the same struggle, but the nostalgia was priceless.

It really was quite something! Without spoiling to the community here, the final boss is very special. I thought FromSoft collabed with Capcom for a minute there! Anyways, good hunts!

Let's face it. The song gets us going everytime. Can't wait to see what crazy builds are going to be made for the serious endgame. Keep it up darkside crew

I think this might be the most cinematically epic version of Proof of a Hero yet! The opening sounds like the Final Boss made it look like the hunter was dead and then we get back up like a fucking GOD! I cannot wait to fight whatever the fuck this is!

I remember that, when I first showed this fight to my little brother after telling him Gaismagorm was based on the Devil, he instantly told me it was the "biggest St. Michael reference he had ever seen". I had to look up what he meant, but after doing so I must say he's absolutely right.

I like this final boss, mainly due to the spectacle and what it means to the people of Elgado. This is the source of all of their problems, the thing they've been studying for the past decades, the thing that was partially responsible for destroying the Citadel and leaving it in the state it's in. The Elgado crew calling this thing "a fairy tale" really sold it for me. We're basically fighting Monster Hunter's version of Satan. The design is a strange corruption of the six-limbed Elder Dragon design we've seen before, it looks almost like a slug with limbs. And then when it goes into its other phases... I wanted to scream, but it was three o'clock in the morning. Plus it has some of the coolest armor and weapon designs in all of Monster Hunter, in my opinion. There really is nothing like it. You can tell the Frontier team worked on this game.

My new favourite Dragonator, Fiorayne.

I can't get enough of how this version of Proof of a Hero starts. The way it doesn't burst straight out the gate but rather has a more modest start with the small tonal change right when it usually starts at around the 9-12 second mark and stays in a more dire and serious sounding tone. Sounds very dramatic, like you're still fighting a tough battle before shifting to the more triumphant version of it, or rather the one we're usually used to at 1:39. I *love* Proof of a Hero as a theme and hearing it in a final MH fight always brings me joy. This one felt a bit more special though, the way this version starts made it absolutely incredible to me. I love the more dramatic and serious sounding version of it.

The gothic and slowness makes it so unique and still slap so hard

This just screams this “WE WILL NOT STOP! WE WILL NOT FALTER! WE WILL FIGHT FOR THE PEOPLE! NOW LETS SEND THIS DEMON BACK TO HELL WHERE HE CAME FROM!”

A dramatic but elegant rendition of Proof of a Hero….. gosh darn it CAPCOM!! Ya did it again!

This is one of the best final bosses in my opinion.

Now see, that ringing bell at the beginning wasn't the hunters call to victory. It was Fiorayne giving Gaismagorm a concussion.

This devil blessed me with three Abyssal Dragonsphires on my third run exorcising the chasm-one from the tail, one from a shiny drop, and one from the rewards. :D

I hope I am not the only one crying out of pure happyness and joy when the main theme starts?

Proof of a Hero is the Monster Hunter equivalent of Doom Eternals entire soundtrack. It’s the players fucking boss theme. You know it’s either time to rip and tear, or hunt and carve >:) Fucking love Sunbreak man❤️

Might be my favorite version of the song. The music is pushing you to fight on, but your victory is not yet assured. The kingdom is relying on you, prove you are the hero they need you to be.

Dunno man, proof of a hero always brings me to tears. Having played this series for over a decade now, there's just so emotion connected to this powerful tune!

... I wonder if this creature has ties to Bioenergy in some way. It honestly feels like the Qurio literally siphon it from the local fauna, and give it all to Giasmiagorm, it creating its own form of Streamstones in the form of those explosive red crystals coating it. Considering how much energy it can output, and how utterly devastating (while also blindingly brilliant) it's ultimate attack is... I wonder if this creature basically replicating the same strategy of Safi'jiva, just... via an entirely different process? Condensing an entire biosphere's worth of energy into a concentrated blast, burning the rest off as terrifying wings of blazing blood red. Considering that all the trees and plantlife survived, I shudder to think of the possibility of such a creature that could quite literally sap all life from an area entirely - selfishly turning everything organic into fuel and leaving the landscape grey and barren.

Just when I though Capcom couldn’t possibly top how well the did Rise’s version of Proof of a Hero... they surprised me.

I actually much prefer the key this one is in over base rise’s version. Base rise feels like a “yeah yeah you’re the hero for the 412th time and whatever” but this one feels more along the lines of “nah good luck beating this shit lmao”

Even though the struggle and the feeling of hype at the end wasnt the same as Fatalis, this still was awesome!

I am so glad I managed to avoid nearly all spoilers before finishing the main story. Normally, I don't mind spoilers, but this was really an experience I had to have. The best final boss in the serious. A masterful buildup, a great theme, and finally, a fantastic. My favourite moment was failing his turret section for the first time. The flame wings rang alarm bells for sure, but I only knew what to expect when I saw the pinpoint star-like light. Best beam style and chargeup, as far as I'm concerned.

Final boss really reminded me of gogmazios no one is mentioning it probably because they are four armed like gore and shagaru

I remember fighting this guy for the first time alongside my dad, and we both stopped and stared in awe when he set himself ablaze. Plus when this track started playing later, with all the explosions, we both were so amped up.

I was just letting RU-vid play mhr Sunbreak's soundtrack on on autopilot while doing dishes when this game on. It took me 0:28 seconds to recognize it b3cause of the beautiful buildup and almost Gothic undertones and my mind was absolutely blown. I have yet to reach this fight in Sunbreak, I haven't even reached Lunagaron because I am being a completions and getting all the quests done and therefore being absolutely slow about it and I don't play every night. I now cannot WAIT to see what they throw at us for this to be the remix

Never fails, once I heard those horns, I knew the fight was almost over. I remember being in VC going "Proof of a hero, Proof of a hero." Never has a song made you better at a game. You hit every skill, combo, dodge, etc, when PoaH is playing.

I loved the ending, the whole part where the player finally spoke and said "We have stopped the Sunbreak. I guess I was, all this time,...a Monster Hunter" 😩

Legit up their with my favorite Proof of the Hero. I still like the OG and Gu maybe a bit more but DAMM I love the Gothic sound of this one. Proof of the Hero has never missed. Except Worlds. That one was wack.

At this point, I won't be surprised if they tried to hire Hiroyuki Sawano just for the theme of the Final Boss.

But seriously, we now have armour-piercing dragonator missiles, what will them engineers think of next. :v

To date, there are few bad final bosses in mh. The ones I can think of are xenojiva and maybe kushala daora. If anyone else remembers any comment down below
