Apart from the fact that every moment of this scene is pure perfection, I just love how the other dancers are cheering in the background at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="290">4:50</a>-<a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="300">5:00</a>. A display of utter, pure joy, and happiness for their fellow dancers and true team spirit ❤️

Also, actor Max Cantor, who played Robbie Gould, the one who impregnated Penny. He died of an overdose in 1991 at the age of 32, and Jack Weston who portrayed Max Kellerman, who died of cancer in 1996 at age 71, and once of the dancers named Tito Suarez. He only appeared in the first part of the movie, and died in 1992 of cancer, at age 81. So many gone.

Как бы не было мерзко на душе, а посмотришь фильм - и всё плохое исчезает! 36 лет периодически смотрю этот шедевр и не надоедает, хотя знаю его почти на память, а эта сцена вообще вызывает непроизвольную улыбку! Любимый актёр в одном из лучших фильмов! Спасибо тебе, Патрик Уэйн Суэйзи за то, что был, есть и будешь в этой жизни, в оставленых тобой фильмах и в сердцах тех, кто тебя любит! Love the movie, watch it every chance I get. Never tire of it Patrick is Amazing. He's one of a kind. No one will ever meet his standards... He is gorgeous, kind and the Best Dancers I have seen. If he was still alive, I'm sure he'd still be dancing. He would be my age and I love dancing,...certainly not like your typical 71 yr. Old. I dance from my soul. This movie is all about breaking free from the infantilisation parents impose on their kids (especially daughters). Given that, the look of pride on mom and dad’s face is the most underrated aspects of this scene- their baby is a grown woman with a smouldering sexuality and everything else they were so afraid of- but are now so proud of.
