Final Day Recap - 2024 CrossFit Games East Semifinal 

The word that keeps coming to mind with Haley is peace. It feels like she’s at peace. I’m so happy for her.

Tia really didn’t even look like she was trying. It was insane.

Haley is radiading the fun and I see a different pressure she's dealing with...a manageable productive one. The last 3 weeks was fun.

Weird that nobody highlights Emma Lawson. Phenomenal athlete, consistent high level, zero zero drama. But overlooked all the time.

The last 3 weeks was a blast, wish we could see this at least 1 time every 3 month as a season from each area of the world.

Favorite interview comment was from the interview with Emma Lawson and Alexis Raptis. Emma Lawson saying that she spent Saturday evening with her parents playing board games. She has found the balance that keeps her happy and well balanced.

I literally cried seen what happened to Anikha Greer. Heartbreaking

May I add - in 2021 Tyler finished 3rd in the LCQ - Roman won the second spot in LCQ - who couldn’t get a visa, but CF didn’t backfill the spot to Tyler.. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Tia Clair Toomey doing Tia Clair Toomey things. I am not sure that six events is enough to test athletes at semi finals. Maybe that could be a topic for Death By in the future.

West coast crowds were so week. Why was that?

Laura’s times would have put her 3rd,1st,4th,1st,2nd,3rd at North America east and pushed Telia down to 1,2,1,4,1,1. Tia at the European champs would have been 1,2,1,4,2,3 which would have pushed Laura to 8,1,4,1,3,2 still slightly better than laura but much closer with a stronger field around Tia. Maybe too soon to close the conversation. Put Laura in North America east without Tia it would have been 2,1,3,1,1,2 she also would have smashed that field. 28:04
