Most of my AP European History class is made up of Seniors so I have a project for Juniors who are still around after graduation. This year it was building an ancient siege engine and it has to be torsion-powered. I opted for a ballista (catapulta) and was going to throw a tennis ball but it kept bouncing back at me. I will add any videos presented to challenge my build from my students to the comments section. They have four more days. Also, it is pretty weird to just be able to make things from materials I have squirreled away for years. You may actually use that piece of you you have been saving since the mid-80s.
