I actually discovered these guys for the first time today at the dollar store. I was impressed enough to search them up and even more impressed after learning they were an original project from Dollar Tree.
This figure line is incredible. I hope to see more. Yes, the material choices are making these sets almost useless, but the concept is good. If you haven't found it, You need to look at the Final Faction Instagram. It introduces the creative team and their mission statement along with some fantastic photos. Great review. That said, I am getting concerned that with the lack of new information that the line may have failed. Dollar Tree took some bad press recently with raising their price, Family Dollar Warehouse rodent infestation and the global instability with Russia and China. And, current toy line ideas, even if successful, only seem to run for 2 years before cancelation. All that being said, I hope this line can keep going.
Excellent video! I was so disappointed with the Dragonfly. It looks so cool in the package, but it simply does not hold together. But overall, I think this toy line is incredible, and certainly proof that high quality toys can be produced for a much lower cost than the big companies like Hasbro and Mattel would have us believe. I think I will buy 2 of the heroes figures. One set with the armor glued on and painted a little. The Kharn monsters remind of an old toy line called Crystar. The Lava men remind me of these aliens!
These are very cool this final faction line. I do wish the figures had more articulation. Maybe just in the arms or a waist swivel. But they are not to bad. I hope more vehicles come with the future. That dune buggy is cool. I know there are 3 different ones the Elite gold, the regular, and that dollar family exclusive that's painted and comes with one guy. But another armor pack or weapons pack for the vehicle would be great. Maybe some kind of small one man tank.
Great video, awesome items and I'm very pleased that my friends in America can get these. However, these are still almost impossible to find in the UK, with only a handful of Wave 1 on eBay ( with prices ranging from £5 for each single figure and £40 for bundles of figures ) and none available in any retail stores. People have mentioned that Poundland in the UK would be selling Final Faction, but I have visited four different stores, in four different locations and their toy sections have been miniscule, with absolutely NO Final Faction figures for sale. :(
Someone on Twitter posted back in January that they sent an inquiry to Poundland about Final Faction. The response was that they're no longer ordering them. 😐
