"How did they expect us to pass this without looking it up on the internet?" I wonder that about so many things in this game, as well as plenty of other games. And even strategy guides don't help given the things people are still finding out about the KH games and the FF7 glitches. There's a legit way to bring Aerith/Aeris back w/ glitches
Imma tell you how they expected us to solve that puzzle back in the day: By sheer f'cking chance. =) BTW, isn't that mace you're using just there so you can apply bubble on allies when you hit them? It does have that effect! Could arguably even be used to heal your team as well, if they absorb holy. What you don't want to do is hit enemies with it.
Yeah Chuchulainn is a pain in the ass, I always just spam quickenings to ko him quickly, you can use elixirs/megalixirs to quickly refill the limit gauge. It's cheap, but so is he. :P
Whew! That Enrage would have spelled game over for me. The way you handled it was badass to watch. I can only menu that fast in FF8. Cant wait for the next episode!
Chaos as a FF12 summon has a huge arsenal of elemental Black Magicks (Firaga, Blizzaga, etc.) that are designed around its playstyle: to strike the enemy's weak spot as hard as possible. Unfortunately, a Black Mage with Scathe is still a much better option against groups of enemies -- especially if you have Opal Ring equipped. As for Cuchulainn, he's tough but not as insanely hard as you might think. It's just gonna take a while to beat him, and you need both Curaja and Esunaga in addition to a Black Belt for your White Mage so he/she doesn't get hit by Disablega. I know because I fought him on Weak Mode myself. I suggest bringing lots of Ethers so you don't run out of MP. That and you just need about 3000-4000 HP on everybody; don't worry about Bubble because the HP Sap field does fractional damage over time. You will need at least 2 Curaja users, however.
I remember printing out a few guides trying to find all the optional Espers back during my high school years. I even left my ps2 on for 3 days while looking for Ultima as I almost got lost in the Great Crystal.
Funny thing about Deathscythe is that he's vulnerable to Confuse. And since he becomes immune to physical attacks, he won't be able to hit himself to get out of it.
I recently started my Weak Mode run after watching these videos, so far nothing is difficult but i'm not very far. Literally beat Tiamat(i think?) in the Henne Mines in 20 seconds. That was kinda funny lol
