Thanks a lot man.... I had played this a bit, then left it for a few months and when I come back didn't remember WTF I was doing LOL This has helped a lot... And don't listen to the haters.... You made this to HELP people, which is always the right thing to do :-)
You do all know that you can press start and hit tutorial and go through it again don’t you? This video is a waste you are literally narrating the info the game already is giving at start. Here I was thinking I would learn some crazy mechanic to apply and create builds and shit or maybe some cool aspect about a royal arm or specified weapon I didn’t know like did you know you shouldn’t try to hit multiple enemies with your royal arms because they can make you go in danger since it is % hp drain depending on the weapon the number is different? Did you know that if you are making a magic build you should be focusing on pure magic stats and actually some weapons take advantage of 2 stats like blade of the father or scepter of the pious and combine the stats when attacking? Did you know the basics of breaking guards on enemies to make them vulnerable if you want a no magic build or just not rely on it as much? Sry man but that is just some lazy shit you just did and a waste of space in RU-vid
Wow bunch pre teens in here. Nice vid dude. This is actually exactly what I was looking for. A Step by Step guide of how the combat works. I am in the middle of deciding of whether i should buy it, so I wanted to know the combat basics. Thanks again, this video stated exactly what it said it would :)
I'm laid off for Covid19 and realized I never made it through this game. But I really do not want to start back at the beginning. This was great. Thank you uploader.
I’m up to Chapter 3 in this game, and all I’ve been doing is just exploring the map, because that’s what I like doing in open-world games, and I’ve got the combat down, and it’s probably one of the best parts of the game for me, even though how to do it is really simple
Thanks for the video, I got to watch it in my leisure time, where I didn't feel like going through any of this in my gaming time, which is limited... Great work, you got a like and a subscribe from me
Man, nothing in this video was not even remotely explained in the game itself. Let alone to an extent that would help the player. Awesome video, it was more than useful.👍
You're likely reading these comments through facepalmed fingers. Yes, it really is a complete waste of time. 27 minute video to read you the controls at a third grade level.
On the fence whether I want to buy this game, just finished FF7 Remake and I haven't had my fill of Final Fantasy. Although, I'm not crazy about this combat system. Spells are limited? That seems really, really stupid. No other FF games have a limited number of times you can use a spell, you can use them until your MP runs out.
Yeah felt the same way. I have lot of trouble in this game meanwhile, im doing fine in ff7 remake. Played this game within an hour and then i just gave up
frasieredwards there's a skill you can get through the ascension menu that will let you know weaknesses, but it's not consistent. Not sure if that changes later down the skill tree or not
This game’s combat sucks so much. Not even due to its design but rather due to how finicky and unresponsive it is. Often when the dodge icon appears, you can’t actually dodge even if you press it well before the icon disappears. And often when I’m holding dodge and doing nothing else, just standing there, Noctis randomly just… doesn’t dodge. Plus, normal attacks deal almost no damage to some enemies even when hitting a weakness, and even when they’re way below your level. Stop wasting my time, game. Not to mention how slowly you recover after being knocked down in a FAST-PACED ACTION GAME where enemies love to swarm you. WTF?? The worst part is that the combat is never difficult, just frustrating, tedious, and annoying.
God knows why they didn’t just use the ff7 remake combat for this game. Would have been dope. Dodging, parrying and comboing on time is so much more satisfying than this odd feeling combat system that was used in this game.
