The Behemoth, started out as a miniboss then got demoted to a mob enemy that was slightly stronger than usual mobs, then made a comeback as THE FF BOSS even earning a spot as a guest appearance in Monster Hunter.
@@BobThePenguin.when he drops that meteor, better duck behind a rock 😅 man I got used to killing the regular one, then they brought back a harder version. MHW was a perfect game.
@@BobThePenguin.regular Behemoth in world was a good fight. If your teammates knew how to stand behind a meteor once in a blue moon, but Extreme Behemoth, now that one was unfair!!
The boss fights in this game are so incredible overall, but I particularly love how much of an "event" Behemoth is presented as here - they know how freaking cool that monster is, and are all to happy to revel in it - outside of the dominant/eikon fights, this guy might be my favorite stage boss.
Well I like that they can take legacy bosses seriously. With Marbol as the second boss and a throwback to Kain as the third I was getting suspect that Clive would be an overpowered mc that steamrolls everything.
Really loved that fight and how he cast Meteor before dying, just as the old FFs did at the times. So much trauma from my first run in FFX when I died after killing one haha.
Funnily enough, i never thought to ask "Is there a behemoth in this game" until like 5 mins before this fight and when he spawned i did NOT expect it to be as savage as it was and to have such an apocalyptic moveset considering my stats and my previous encounters of behemoths when i hunted them for giggles. And the best part was this one is the EASIEST behemoth fight compared to the other 2
It's Kuza beast & Behemoth King Variant is also fun too, try beating both of them without using any healing items apart from *_'Flames of Rebirth' 'Torgal's heal' & 'Limit Break' passive healing_*
Why were they whispering? XD like the damn thing already saw em! You think behemoth just jumps on random pillars and goes "eh. Fuck this spot in particular" with meteors?
Mhw Behemoth makes this look like a joke. Edit: I mean gameplay wise not lore wise. The tracking on the tornados and meteors is not as hard as World’s, this one doesn’t have a pin attack (That I’ve seen so far) that slams your ass into the ground like an angry child with his toys, doesn’t seem to have a DPS check, and doesn’t nuke the entire zone with the ecliptic meteor he did at the end.
For a reason, behemoth is literally a world ending threat in mhw due to the nature of the verse. In final fantasy universe he's more like a thorn on the side. You've got beings who would blink him out of existence in final fantasy. Heck Clive has access to the powers of godlike beings who would spit on the mh verse. So there's that
Only looks that way because the power difference of each series is extremely skewed. Of course Behemoth would seem like such a beast in MH compared to here in FF where the latest protagonist is a pretty much a demigod
for us monster hunter players... it was good that he is not a black dragon level threat... Otherwise I don't want to be on the other end of that meteor.
@@mhiggs8001 This game is everything people say they hate about modern JRPGs from about 30-40% in the game, but it tricked everyone with it's setting and Game of Thrones-esque early story to get people in. It's a shame people made up their minds on the game early, because the back half of the game, from like at least Titan/Bahamut onwards is fucking DULL. Everything is just dead, grey and ugly, and the enemy variety had long since run dry with exception of the Behemoth, which I'll say it, is a bloody terrible fight. It's ridiculously easy and then uses meteor where you literally cannot see anything. Almost literally 2 dozen screen wide projectiles hitting the ground and the dome so you can't jump over the shockwaves like every other similar move in the game. you have to find safe spots to reliably avoid damage, but good luck seeing them through all that red.
It’s crazy how I went from being excited to see anything about this game, to feeling depressed and disgusted just by looking at Clive, all within the course of a month.
@@Mami27SS lol what I mean, it's boring to shoot a Lazer beam for 15 seconds. At least the rendering is insane. Most of it feels like a movie they told a really good story imo. It's cool it's just a little less dimensional than a ton of the other best games out there
If you think dmc is lazy then you never played these games, the game has tons of customisation. Each of 8 eikons has 4 skills and an extra ability, the game is FAR from lazy, the customisation of combo is limitless
@@treywiley5294 as opposed to a good rpg like bravely default. Maybe the stagger system in this game feels better to play than it does to watch, but the game itself is pretty 1d to watch.
Worst boss in the game to fight against. The issue is how you cannot see jack shit on the screen, has impossible to dodge attacks and wonky hitboxes. The spectacle is there… but the fun in fighting isn’t there.
