Damn why is this so tight? You really do have to fit in 3 spitfires and hope you been doing enough damage. Your combo suggestion worked wonders as I’m normally mashing buttons with ifirit so the knowledge carried on and made the rest of the fight easier. Still why so tight? Felt like I was savage raiding in ffxiv

okay so after like 5-6 game overs total, 2 to the barrier bollocks, im glad i saw the comments here, thought it was just me sucking but nope, its just that tight, i play FF14 and have had less tight DPS checks than this on Extreme trials and Savage tier fights... also, how are you MEANT to deal the waterspout? i just HP tanked it, tried the shield (Brimstone???) but it didnt do shit.

What's up with the difficulty of this fight? I played it on story mode and just barely broke the shield in time on like my 10th try. Literally 1 second left and I got the 3rd spitfire off. And then the post shield part, too. I barely beat him with almost no health after burning through healing items.

I just did this on level 49. and i didnt know about the brimstone charge attack until phase 4. yes, there is a phase after this.

i beat it first time after 7 deaths or something and i tried to do again clean on stage replay and it seemed literally impossible.i tried for over an hour idk why it felt so much harder like it was ultimanic difficulty.

Man. I was on this part for like a hours. It took me 6 tries and on one time. I literally had a smige of health left. Me a Leviathan were fighting with low health towards the end. Plus everybody and they mama wanted to come in my room a bug the shit outta me while I'm doing the boss fight. Specifically the second half. I was enjoying everything until that Precise window of time to do damage on god I was. Then it became a chore. And everyone bugging me while I was doing it kept making it harder and longer because I would have to pause the game and continue in the middle of a dodge. Every. Time. Like I haven't played the same in a while sure. But bruh. I thought I was just trash. But no the precise window of time a lot of people struggled with. I thought it was just me. Thank god it wasn't just me

Huge pain in the a$$ fight

What you want is NOT "Boom boom and boom, like this." As shown in the video. What you actually want it the longest melee combo with (square, square, square, square and then triangle, triangle). If done corretly those three things will pop up on the screen and this does the most damage: **Combo ***Fireball Burst *Backdraft Finish

Im level 48 and this fight is impossible, i deal 47k per attack.

This is unfair unplayable. I tried combo, but dodge clicking and doing all the combos and being spammed with attacks on top to doge and stunned everytime. I barley manage half or under half then the shit is already on stage 5. and the flood. This is stupid.

I never want to finish this DLC, never in my gametime I curse U shit over and over! It is a let down 4 me, I choose to give up and move on. I LOVE my LIFE more than THIS DLC!🎉

Gotta love the commenters here saying they hate this part of the fight knowing full well that Leviathan is somewhat of a superboss, and one that uses water attacks at that. A DLC final boss of this caliber SHOULD be this difficult. If you can't beat it, that's skill issue on your part.

bro underleveled this is not possible at all, it doesn't work your guide doesn't do anyone any good if someone is underleveled, i tried it and then levelled a bit, then it went easy. i didn't even have to look at a guide like this one
