@@JCbackfire gotta agree with them tho outta everyone I've been watching here and there so far its been the best sharing in this with you, strange that most the others are like LONG time FF fans tho, you'd think they'd be even MORE happy to see this game be so good 🤣
One thing I love about Dion is that he could easily be the protagonist in an alternative version of the game. But he's a Heroic Fantasy character in a Political Intrigue Fantasy plot.
@@VergieOfDeath yeah they could do so much prequel stuff even its nuts, like cid and barnabas mightve had an eikon fight that we don't know about, and fuck just imagine how hype it would be to get OTHER playable eikon fights through dlc, like damn we BARELY saw and Shiva and Ramuh and Odin, usually with some SE games I want dlc cus it feels like something was missing but with this its like I just WANT more cool shit 😭
@@SSlash this game is really about Clive first and foremost, which they describe in the first place before the release. Which is great, because I ALSO WANT DLC of other characters. Like YoshiP mentioned if he wants to do one, he wants to make a playable Cid DLC.
@@VergieOfDeath he already WANTS to do that? For such a good character to have gone so early on I guess it should be no surprise but hell, at this point I'd say basically anybody wants it too 👀
First BIG hint about Torgal was when they entered the AetherFlow in the Empire capital. I was sitting there wondering how he wasn't affected by it like any other non-dominant creatures in the place
I think my brain at first just dismissed it as “maybe it effects animals differently” which is brilliant because if torgal wasn’t a dog it would have been a “well no shit he’s special”. I wonder if multiple animals can also be like torgal. Loooots of mythology in the world and ffxvi is fine with multiple mythology in the same universe
same lol. I'm really disappointed that from what I've read, a lot of people really hated the ending; which I don't understand. I thought it was a really beautiful way to end the story, personally.
I liked that at the beginning of the game after leaving to go fight Shiva, Hugo says "This game is over." Now at the end of the Titan lost fight Clive throws those words back at him.
Dion is my favorite character. His conflict between doing what is right and what his Father wishes is a real treat. Plus, adding he has a secret love affair with his knight is just so seamless. He just wants to be a good person and help his people.
It’s sad to see that people will skip this and play it off as “Mid” game When shit like THIS is available. Like no. This game is truly surpassing its own limitations and I do hope it wins GOTY or even just the music alone because THAT is insanely magnificent
The boss fights in this game are some of the best I've seen in a long while. They're so exciting and keep you on your toes everytime. By the way, I'm loving your playthrough so far! I can't wait to see your reactions to all the crazy shenanigans FF16 throws at you later on.
His summary of the Titan and Titan Lost-fight is AMAZING. He really sounds like an overexcited child, literally going "and then...... and then..... and then.... and then..... and then......." AND IT NEVER FREAKING STOPS!!!! This is the most AMAZING reaction i´ve ever seen in any livestream/youtube-video like.... EVER!
I liked how you pointed out that Dion seems to be a good person. FF16 seems to have some inspiration from the original FF games, and fun fact in those Bahamut was not a villain. Bahamut was known as being the Benevolent King of Dragons and often sought to protect the world and make it better. Tiamat actually was portrayed as Bahamut is nowadays and was known as the Queen of Evil Dragons in the first game. FF wanted to pull away from its DnD inspiration and one of the big changes they made was almost completely flipping the roles of these two characters from ff3 onward. As basically after that almost every depiction of Bahamut has been a villain who's just straight up evil from ff3 to ff15
Haha I discovered you through this game and I LOVE your reactions and how you notice the music😂 Literally me in my playthrough. And btw, if you think this was wild, there's another fight coming up that i won't spoil but it will FLOOR you. This game is an achievement! The music is amazing too, especially the Phoenix theme from the beginning fight with the choir and all. Can't wait for the next vid/stream!
One thing you mentioned about nearly losing your life in the game. As an eikon you get 6-8 shots of a health regen buff called “FireLight” ( see bottom left during eikon fights ). Similar to during normal play when you use “potions”. I saw someone say that during your live stream but don’t see that in the comments here.
Oh I've been waiting for this! Thank you so much. I really enjoy your gameplay and reactions. You're so genuine and excited and just overall happy with your experience and I can't help but smile along. I'm glad you're enjoying and I can't wait for the next episode of your FF16 journey. Became your fan from the beginning of this journey and so worth it to join in this experience. Go go go, JC!
I questioned the music for the boss fight but I didn't f*cking care anymore. Hugo Kupka/Titan/Titan Lost is just...... Too much to comprehend..... I'm just waiting for Bahamut.
first phase of titan lost felt a bit of a random switch up in music, but the second half of it definitely hits harder, and the final segment while falling?? 😩👌
Rare for me to say this but I'd voluntarily watch your reactions over a hot egirl. You are doing everything right. You pay attention to the story, you read the text and tool tips, you notice the little details, you use downthrust (unbelievably rare achievement), you get excited at the same points I did. It's a pleasure to watch you go through the game. Can't wait for Bahamut.
39:51 "Cross you?! Ill kill you!" one of my favorite moments of clive Other protagonists wouldve tried to reason with Kupka even after everything he have done But clive? He aint sugarcotting it, Hes telling Kupka hes gonna murder him and move on
his delusion of seeing clive biting a naked benedikta makes no sense and explains nothing but does make hugo mad enough to turn to titan and i think that was the entire reason they put it in there despite again it making absolutely no sense at all
Clive and Jill would they or not like Ross and Rachel in Friends, we all know where their relationship is going but you need to wait for the train to arrive unlike The Witcher 3 they drop you from the start in Geralt and Yennefer
tf dont go saying the SCALE gets better, literally nothing could be bigger than a supersized titan, say it gets more hype all you want but dont go throwing around scale like that lol
@@c.c.5370 i beat the game to and you i speak about scale not size . the battle with titan as no impact on the people of valishéa it's just a big dude with a mountain size but the Battle with Bahamut or Ultima as more impact and the fight can end the world if they want .
It has the best boss battles I’ve ever seen but the moments in between are so bad it’s like they made a 11/10 main game then made a 5/10 side quest game.
The fact that I still remember seeing how mountainous Titan was and I wanted the fight against him to be like a David and Goliath thing but mixed with that scene with the roach and the mecha from Monsters vs Aliens and I was not disappointed when I got to Titan Lost 🔥 🔥 🔥 🪨 🪨 🪨
