On the last one now, and I'm about to say f*ck this game and sell it at gamestop!....this is harder than some ACTUAL bosses in the main game were!🤦🏾😡 The final boss just kills everyone by himself and runs down the time
@@stryfetc1471 yeah bro it’s stupid. I finally beat it and my advice is use the offensive load out because the trebouches are a MUST. You layer two on top of eachother and basically hope he doesn’t target them. That’s the only way I won
Exactly i loved the original version but now it seems they wanna just throw annoying hard bs at players just to “see who can do it” it takes away from the fun.
After hours of trying, finally won the last game with 0.5 seconds remaining. The last boss stopping nearby units and milking time is downright disgusting
Beat it with 16 seconds left. Here's how I did it: I let the units come to me like suggested. The first unit to reach you will be the elite vanguard. He cleaves, so WAIT for his attack and THEN put enforcers next to him, so they don't eat the cleave damage. Place an elite vanguard on the left to the deal with the ranged unit coming down. Then put another enforcer on the right, they should both focus on the vanguard. Your first tower will crumble, the dog will run past it and get killed by your base. Put an elite ranger on the left to deal with the enforcer and the grey flying unit coming down. Give both sides a cleric to stay alive. Continue spawning ranged units until Barret is available, but don't use him yet; they should be able to take out the grey unit. Your elite ranged on the left should start whittling down that tower. Place a trebuchet in the center once you're far enough up ASAP to start putting damage on their commander. An elite vanguard and enforcer will spawn on the right, when they both spawn, summon Barret to kill the enforcer, and do a ton of damage to the vanguard and the tower. Get the second trebuchet down and then spawn another enforcer next to it. On the left, WAIT for BOTH greys to spawn. The big one should get tied up by your enforcer. As soon as the wolf appears, summon Cloud and he should kill both of them. Now focus on the commander, spawning in a mix of units. Make sure to spawn ranged units outside his poison and stop effect. Once the stop effect kicks in, you remaining ranged and trebuchets should finish the job. ...fuck this minigame.
I'm just happy I'm not the only one who tried to do this play by play and still failed lol On the third one, I place my red guy on the left like he did in the video and the freakin captain blasted him half to death but in the video, his guy barely gets touched.. like wtf
Of course not. It's like "our game is huge" neglected to mention there's a bunch of BS I mean if you took out all the mini games and stupid extraneous nonsense the game would be about 100 hours the extra 50 to 100 hours come from stupid useless time wasters like this
I’m getting my ass kicked in the second battle on EASY I am fucking terrible at this and the worst part is my OCD won’t allow me to move on until I complete them all
💯. I HATE when the developers have annoying bullshit like this tied to actual relevant things that matter in game. Sure, have it as a recreational activity where one can CHOOSE to partake…but that’s it.
Omg thank you, its been two days since I’ve been playing this and almost had it but kept losing, its all thanks to you now I’ve finished it, i only had 3 seconds-ish but it was worth it thank you!
Good video man. Was stuck on the last one. Tried it prolly 7-10 times. Would have got it eventually but don’t have a ton of time to play so here I am. Thanks 🙏
If you made this just for viewing its fine but as a gudie is isnt very helpful at all since we cant see what you place and even if we manfe to place something similar or actually follw what you do it still ends in a defeat Why did they change the rules to fort conder the team that did most damage to bases won normally but now you got to actually destroy base before timing runs out or its a defeat its crazy
I cannot thank you enough for posting this. Several other folks in your comments have already said this, but I too was ready to give up on Rebirth entirely just because of this one stupid minigame. Thankfully your guide got me through it.
Easy start. Start with Elites and a cleric first few turns. Should push em enough to get it started. Spam them till you get barret, tifa or cloud. Condors can beat some enemies easily. So you can just leave them to it. Good video! Good job
I found easy mode for this version of Fort Condor was to use the Formation that allows ballistae and lots of medics. Ballistae aligned near the bottlenecks, in combination with cheep shielding troops, meant I beat the final level with over 30 seconds to go, and all of my heroes alive. Thank you!
Why is this shit RNG? I literally followed this video to the T for the 2nd one and lost horribly. Only got one tower down, they took out one of my towers, and time ran out. Then i did the same thing again, and demolished the enemy with 35 seconds remaining. Same pieces, same time, same placement, different results.
@curtx88 well then how do you explain the difference in results being that drastic 2 times? Both times following a guide step by step putting things in the sams place as the guide at the Same exact time and having 2 wildly different outcomes?
I hear you brother got same shit over and over and over again had the same thing with God of war same thing if you use this gear with one gear you beat bosses in seconds I was 2 weeks trying beat the berserker king most video are clickbait so much bullshit 😅😅😅😅😅
This mini game is a literal waste of my time and I never go for platinum trophies anyways 🤷🏽♂️. It’s also very unbalanced compared to “Intergrade” and the 1997/1998 original. No need for me to be miserable lol
This is so frustrating but the key to winning is look at what your opponent has the move of and countering that and selecting the people hero with those strengths. So this first stage the enemy has a lot of reds so you should go the full strong defense pick with barret. That way when they spam all of their reds on the rifht side you'll have a lot of blues and that's their weakness. Also be sure to put down the ballistic things as soon as your close so you'll start to damage the main boss. It's absolutely key to counter their colors like the video shows at the start
This was pure aids, i followed you to the letter and would run out of time, one try I had him at pixel life and the time ended was about to throw my controller lol, i finally got it after 7-8 attempts. Cant believe theres a hard mode omg
Thank you for the vid sooo appreciated I was so bad at this on my first match took me like 5 times😢 I think I understand the basic mechanics of this game ty!
For the 4th fight i killed all ads and then placed 2 balistas in front of him out of his range attack. Only thing that can reasonably do damage to him. All other units are getting stopped when too close to him. Archers are trash, he insta kill them
I was excited when I saw it cause I thought it would be the same mini game from the dlc, it is not! First of all that timer is bull shit! At least in intergarde when the timer ended if you did more damage to their tower than they did yo yours you were still the Victor, you can't go gather better boards and units, and the enemy practically cheats... FUQ whoever decided to do this one and with a short timer... don't even get me started on the bs with that danm dog monster... 😡🤬😡🤬😡🤬
The one from the Yuffie dlc was fun af, but there was an exploitable unit that made it super easy. Instead of just removing that unit they added a time limit, removed any real customization, and made the line fall back when an enemy slips around your rush. Just all around dumb changes.
For the 2nd fight i had easier time sending shieldlv2 then 2 clerics 2 swords lv2 3rd cleric, swords lv2 on right and then when spider comes on left i blocked him with shield lv2. I had waaay more time than u. I played on 3rd option for troops.
Thank you for this. The last boss was making me almost rip my hair out, plus the fact that he stops all nearby enemies when he’s close to dying is so bs
In fact if you are fast enough to reach him the effect ends near the end of the battle, i placed a ton of enforcer near him and they all strike him at the very last second i won with 0.2 second left
THIS IS COMPLETELY RNG. I am not getting the platinum because of Queens Blood and Fort Condor. I wish nothing but the worst in life for who ever thought these games needed to exist
yeah this is frustating, on the last battle I was getting so close to winning so many times but time ran out and then the match I won on had 29.30 left on the clock so yeah just try random stuff you'll get there in the end
This mini game has ruined it for me. I'm on about my 5th try at this now since I started following guides step by step. Never works for me - give up after half an hour and stop playing the game.
I had him once but the devs were like “we need to add a bullshit feature and give this boss an ability to freeze anyone in front of him. It’s only fair that the boss wins here!”
Couldn't even win the first battle. Watched the video, studied strategy but nope. Either came close and ran out of time or got annihilated. Fuck. This. Mode.
Dont mind the mini game but fuk me if it's a side quest, get rid of the timer. Side quests arec at most just there to pad the game out. They shouldnt be harder than an actual boss in main story.
The hell do you have 6.33 secs let upon beating this dam mini game I have followed your video to a T and I still haven't beat this piece of shit mini game after 8 hours of trying. It is beyond fucking stupid that it is this hard on base difficulty.
I followed his beginning methods for the most part. But on that final one you gotta kinda wing it. Like before just take everything you learned from the prior ones and use it. The end you gotta make sure to use the catapults. And set them kinda far away. It's rough. But I saved cloud for my right side push when that big bird spawns in. And save barret for the left side when the giant robot spawns in. Barret will almost 1 hit the robot. At the point towards the end when the giant robot spawns you need to be ready to put a unit back at your own base to kill the dog that rushes on the left as quickly as possible to give you control of the battlefield again by this time if you haven't put one down yet throw the catapults down while all your units attack. Early damage with melee does a lot. But once the boss hits a certain point it uses that attack to freeze all your troops. That's when the ranged troops and catapults come in clutch.
@@MasturPayton Ever time and I do mean every time I have tried this strategy, I put the catapults just outside my base almost on the barricade and I always wait to do until 1:20 is on the clock. at that point I have control most times and I am just waiting to nuke the giant and once my forces hit the captain. Even at that time and with my forces right top of the captain he still hits the catapults if the ground forces are even a second away. The ranged units still get hit by the dps aura he puts around himself. how do you deal with that?
@ericswanson411 I put the catapults inside on their base. Against the middle wall. But not until I've destroyed basically everything major that's gonna push my base. You should have roughly around a minute left around this time. In the very beginning I waited until I gained 2 extra ap. And would place 2 enforcers right at my border on the right. And a medic behind them. On the left I started with a swordfighter to counter their archer. Then I'd save my next points for an elite archer for the left side to help take out their shield. At this point the left side should be good until the big robot spawns. And the right side should be spawning that sides biggest wave of enemies. Keep stacking enforcers to get clouds spawn. Try and use cloud as close as possible to the right sides enemy base and group of enemies. He can 1 shot the bird with his spawn and damage all other enemies and the base. Spawn a swordsman if possible to help clear the final enemies on the right so cloud doesn't die. Spawn medics as needed to keep that right side alive that's your army at this point for the final fight. Around the time you are finishing the right side up the big robot will spawn on the left. Spawn in barret infront of it to almost 1 hit the whole thing. Your elite archer should hopefully still be alive to help finish it off. Save your ap because when that robot spawns very shortly after a dog spawns that charges into your base and will ruin your ability to spawn troops close to the enemy base. So right when that dog spawns put a swordsman on your bottom left base. So he is there to attack it with your base. Allowing you to go right back to your troops who should be battling the boss and the base. The boss has an ability to stop your troops that are close by from attacking for the cycle of a few attacks. So spawn in both catapults, and maybe another elite archer or elite swordsman. And if you still have some available use your medics. If you keep practicing this exact method you'll master it. I couldn't do it but kept getting so damn close my time was running out right before it died. But once I mastered the method I was trying to do without zero mess ups. I cleared it with 20 seconds remaining.
@MasturPayton still nothing works. You didn't mention to keep spawning green units on the left and because of that I had to waste AP on that when I could've used it for the enemies on the right who obliterated Cloud. The clerics were absolutely useless, healing for scratch damage.
@dave_the_slick8584 read both of my previous messages. if done right, the left side should be under control once you've put the elite ranger down because you'll have countered everything they place until the big robot spawns. During that time you should be spawning everything needed to keep the right side moving. Make sure your healers are placed far behind the crowd you have attacking the right side. Remember right when that big bird spawns in and you have most of their final wave of enemies spawned in on the right. If done correctly you should be close to their base and main hq. Use cloud on the big bird and group of enemies on the right hopefully you should be close enough to damage the base with this attack cloud does when he spawns in. It'll take out the big bird and damage the base, along with most of the enemies on the right. At this point sword enemies will spawn making cloud an easy target because they are his weakness. This is when you should already have a healer or 2 behind him to keep him alive as you spawn in your own elite swordsman or shield. Whatever you think will help. As this is happening that big robot should he spawning on the left. Make sure you have ap available to spawn a swordsman back at your own base on the left. Once the robot spawns use barret on the robot to kill it almost immediately. Then spawn that swordsman on your base to kill the dog that spawns and rushs the left side. If left unchecked the dog will remove your ability to place soldiers down field on the enemies side. So taking out this dog is crucial. If possible try and place a catapult or 2 on the middle borderwall on the enemy side as far from their hq as possible. before being forced to place that swordsman back at your left base. If not it's ok once it's dead the first thing you should do is tend to your army when given the chance to go back to them. If available place a healer behind them or add was needed. But make sure you have both your catapults placed when there is around 40 - 60 seconds remaining. It's not gonna work right away. And if what I said isn't working at first just keep practicing until you master each part. Eventually you'll beat it trust me. It takes a lot of practice to master it exactly. I'm sure there might be other methods but this one seemed to work for me pretty well. Considering how close I got each try. once I started getting the hang of it, I was failing because of one little mistake throughout it all. Remembering my gameplan each time keeping on it. I got closer and closer to beating it when I finally did I had way more than enough time to spare. It's been a few days now since I've done this so my memory isn't 100% on this anymore. But if you follow everything I said before and keep practicing over and over mastering each part, you'll beat it. Remember each unit type has a weakness so try your best to consistently counter their units with their weaknesses
@@shadowflame68 Some minigames are required to progress like those annoying Wrangle A Chocobo segments. There’s no skip minimame or solve the solution option.
This time stop at 4th battle is such a dick move. I enjoyed Fort Condor a lot in Intergrade, it wasn't top notch but it was enjoyable thing. But this quest line is literally bullshit
I just losing my sanity on this fucking game holy shit man, the worst is that mission is important, lost my mind so many times i already lose because of seconds even doing everything exaclty as the video, i just dont crash my tv because im not rich fuck this
These fights are all the same so why don't you just type out the combination of units you use and when to place them based on the timer in-game? Why do I have to watch a video over half an hour long just to get the answer to the puzzle? Also the video is pointless because you select units far too quickly for anyone to see what you're actually choosing.
Some people don’t watch these videos just to see the “answers” only. Some want to see the gameplay as well. If you only want the answers a text guide from Google would be the place to check not a RU-vid video you clearly saw the time of before clicking.
Like bro said “why do I have to” and you literally don’t. There are shorter videos. There is text based guides already. You can even slide the bar and skip to what parts you need to see. Fucking imagine man. It boggles me how fucking stupid some people are these days
At least slow it down so we can see what units your are placing. Fuck me. I've followed the stage 2 to the letter and it doesn't work. Your obviously playing on easy
If you stack 2 clerics and elite red on the left at the start with a ballista just to the right of the path, followed by an elite red again, blue guy and cleric to defend the main base you should win, just did that myself on normal 👍🏻 there's a guide on another video I followed
@@Theflyingstain23can u pls tell me which vid i’m abt to rip my hair out playing this game 🗿 edit: nvm i did it i completely forgot we could put tifa/cloud down on the battle field
I hate mini games so much. From the bottom of my heart I hate it. Ff7 is my favorite game of all time. Back in 1997 I did not play any mini game. I hate it. How do I pass the rebirth Fort Condor mini game? Square why implement such awefull mini game?
