I keep hearing ppl talk about how the enemy doesn’t lock onto the active character anymore, but Titan seems to follow switching party members pretty closely.
Yeah. The battle as presented should be a “round 1” version. Then the advanced “round 2” battle should be as you described. Visually in their special arena and with elemental damage
You find their crystals in the world and investigate them. At the start of the video they show all 3 of Titan's crystals to investigate as part of Intel missions. Summon starts at lvl 1, but gains 1 lvl for each of their crystals you find.
I kinda wish they did a similar system to what Golden Sun did and make it so certain summon materia combinations make it possible to call new summons (junctioning 2 or 3 together), or maybe new attacks with green materia+summon etc. But yeah there's something wrong with going from FF16's titan fight to this in a virtual environment 😅 it'd make searching for new and even seemingly useless materia quite interesting
@@InvertedzeroI agree, after the Titan and Bahamut fights in 16, this virtual thing will never live up to them, well tbh it’s going to take something unbelievably good by any game to top the Bahamut fight
@@khalbrogo7962 Eikon fight in 16 were literally nothing but style over substance with very limited combo and QTE-fest. KH already done it better, far more interesting and engaging fight that.
@cloudcs Not surprised they changed the weapon name from the original and Japanese version because they did it in Remake too. Small gripe, but a little annoying lol
I hated the summons system. What is the point on having all these summons in the game when you cant use them unless it meets certain situations. Just have a cool down timer or a charge up mechanics so you can use it when you want instead of hoping it goes off.
Spoken like a mor0n that clearly don't know wtf you're talking about. Literally every battle now summon can be use. It would be a lot more useful with Hard difficulty since enemies have bigger health pool.
After the ff16 i feel spoiled. That game did summons the best i ever seen This is a let down and step back in ways. If you playdd ff16 then you would know why. The boss summons system was the best in the series. That game may not have been the boss fights were so epic it the best.
The summon on summon fights were boring as hell. I'd also rather fight something more small than giant ass enemies. Does anybody even like fighting giant giant enemies?

titan in ff 16 was the best take on him there was, , these smaller variations as well as ugly versions of ifrit compared to 16/14 is not my cup of tea :D
It's because you can nerf Titan if you do some tasks throughout that region. Fighting Titan at full strength is suicide, at least that's what I've heard
I like that it still leaves the option. I would probably want to fight them full power, also, but I have a tendency to do all the side content (which is supposedly how you unlock power-downs), so that would have been frustrating.
