Awesome vid. I beat Epica and I can say I totally enjoyed my time with it. And I played both Dragoon X games and also a good one to play if not beat. And Final Fantasy ++ a great playthrough as well. You, sir, have awesome taste in mod/hack classics.
I loved the original FF and thats the first one I ever played. I have never gotten into Hacks mainly because I already have so much to get caught up with but I can tell you now that you introduced the Ultra FF hack, that one I might give a shot!
Does Ultra have the class change for characters after completing Temple of Ordeals? I just heard about Ultra Champion Edition from SNES Drunk, thinking about giving that one a go. Any thoughts on that one? I feel like the class change is critical to truly enjoying OG Final Fantasy. No mention in the Ultra Champion Edition ReadMe file on RomHacking dot net so I figured I would ask far more knowledgable people to double-check..
I did enjoy The Dawn Warriors when I played it, but one of the biggest problems I had was that there's no good hints as to where the secret shops are. Like supposedly the Dragoon can summon Bahamut, but I was never able to find the shop that has him in there.
Gonna be honest, I've never played FF1, but I installed ++, and I'm wondering how exactly the modified class change system works. Do my character's stats switch to what they would be if they were the new class, or do they keep the same stats, while being able to gain what the other class gets? Also, is it even worth it to do the switch?
Personally I would like to see a remastered version of this game that looks and sounds just like the original, but has improvements in the mechanics, like having more spell charges, auto re targeting, items can be used on other party members among other changes.
@@Roger709Bautista14 From what I've seen, not really, even if it is better visually and mechanic-wise. I just would've liked it if they put the original look and sounds.
@@vintagegamer695 I myself would let Square-Enix to imoprove it through app updates, if not the Steam version can be modded. They need to include controller support for the mobile devices and fix the small font size a lot of fans been complaining about and at least the background music sounds better than the original version.
There was a hack I played back in the day that was so funny . The dialogue is completely changed for example if you explore something isn't gives you the message " nuttin here bitch " I wish I remember its name
