The Cloud of Darkness was sadistic game design at it's finest. It wasn't enough to give the expected difficulty spike through an attack that does insane damage to your party compared to the bosses before it, but they also had to make you go through two dungeons to try again with a somewhat long cutscene between the two. Also that devastating AoE attack was in addition to a standard double melee attack.
The feature I love about those boss fights is when your character makes a unique boss finishing blow animation, so you know when it's down a second before that happened. Also it looks nice.
I got an Art Book recently of FFs I-X. And im.like these bosses all crazy AF. And now I'm.just watching boss videos. I played III on DS a lot still have it.
I had this game so long ago i just wish i can play it again i used to play it with my cousins this was so fun i love this game the reason why im not playing it anymore cuz the ipad is broken 😢🥺
@@Walamonga1313 he one shots anything with less than 1000 HP and since can act two times per turn he can destroy your entire party even with 2000 HP in just one turn
Pixel Remaster is out, faster (fight more enemies with less hp though no outside party ally attacks) and better graphics. Easier difficulty though last area is quicksave only no return though you can heal, but I beat with a bard (support atk/def and always goes first) and one shuriken for my ninja.
you can buy it on ps vita and psp digitally though you'll have to buy it via ps3 then transfer it to your psp, not that big data wise. it also gives you the onion knight after getting 25 percent of the beastiary and doing a side quest from the moogle mail. ( I do think there is a physical version of the game for psp but I think it may be a Japanese exclusive not sure so try ebay or amazon and see whats on there)
