To muddy the waters a bit, after the original SNES NA port, they eventually released the Final Fantasy titles that they skipped over (I believe when they released the GBA remasters). So while that series is correct for the original SNES ports, it changed back to its correct original numbering upon the GBA remaster.

I wish Smash had more Final Fantasy songs than just VII. Yes, I understand that we only had characters and stages from VII, but there are many great songs from the other games, such as the "Normal Battle" theme from X, "Battle on the Big Bridge" from V, the "Decisive Battle" theme from III, and the "Boss Battle" theme from IV.
Dude, to hell with that. We need character from the other games. There's more to Final Fantasy than 7, and it's time the mainstream started to realize that.
6 truly had it all. Great music, Fan-FUCKING-tastic story, amazing gameplay, and the characters were A1. This was truly the best group of characters IMO. Most if not all of the characters felt so fleshed out and so much thought was put into them. You feel for Cyan. You understand why Sabin is friends with Shadow in that they are both cast from their family in one way or another. You can feel Setzer just wants the damn airship back. You can see growth in lovable characters like Locke. You want to like Leo. I'll take off the rose-tinted goggles now, but God this game was perfect as a kid...
This IS from Final Fantasy VI, but the box art is still correct. While every Final Fantasy was released in Japan (1-6 by 1994), Square decided to only release 1 (NES), 4 (SNES), and 6 (SNES) outside of Japan. Because 2 (NES), 3 (NES), and 5 (SNES) weren't released outside of Japan at the time, Square renamed the ones that were globally released as I, II, and III for localization.

In the extensive lore of final fantasy out of the game you can use the phoenix wing in the last 3 minutes after the person dies if more than 3 minutes pass the person will die forever no matter how many phoenix wings you give really to me it excites me more to see sabin and locke (Final Fantasy VI) being they normal and ordinary humans (I'm talking about not having magic) they were the ones who fought the most and had the most determination when everything seemed lost sabin and Locke the most human and the most "weak" of the whole group of heroes were the ones who followed fighting and even though everything seemed lost that's why I think while don't miss the hope there is still a chance to make things work because if you don't give up your chances of winning will never be 0 no matter how murky and complicated the situation looks

@@tofi5952 FFIII never came out of japan until the ds (not sure if it was *specifically* on the ds), but because the FF games that didn't make out of japan they made it was like FFIII
