@@moshibass I like the bit of funk bass on the end of the track, right before where the original is supposed to loop. It's a part of the song that very few people really nail. Even the pixel remaster didn't get it right (it drowned out the bass almost entirely, which is a musical crime).
Uematsu is insane,this bass line he wrote in FFVI is the best bass line he wrote in his career,the bass line makes the whole songs,you can basically just solo the bass part and mute other things it will still sound really good and you will still recognize it's Searching For Friends..What a genius composer UwU he didn't write this kind of bass line after FFVI dunno why :/

nice! i lost an argument on facebook it seems- i remember seeing it labeled as "Searching Friends" first so I prefer calling it that, but I was definitely in the minority of that !
