This theme.. To me, this theme IS Final Fantasy. This was the first Final Fantasy I ever played, an will forever hold so many memories for me. And THIS my friends, Is the reason why I chose to do this as my first game as a Let's player now on RU-vid. I can relate, LOVE Kingdom Hearts with a passion, but yes it would have made me all the more enthusiastic for a replay if it was the first time all over again... But I love them and will always keep with them, they got just as much heart!
Nothing quite beats hearing this for the first time though on the original you can just feel you've got an Adventure about to begin and is about actually become the game was the adventure is about to get real well after kalm oh that mega trail out length story I know it's reasons but still but once you get back on the road the world is pretty much yours to own kind of I did like all their multiple stops to help their sore do their blah blah blah😅 so many memories attached to one song alone very powerful no surprise with the Creator you know what he was doing
I want to add that I've been feeling down all day, so I thought I just go to bed and put this playing. However when the song ended, I just had to get up because all of the sudden I feel really good!
This has always been one of my favorite songs. I have heard so many versions of it and have loved most of them. Somehow I've only come across this version just now, which is insane because this is easily the greatest version of it I have ever heard.
This is a masterpiece, gave me chills multiple times. This really captures the atmosphere of FFVII, and sounds really, really good. Pieces like this are the reason you are in my subscriptions.
מאור חזון I played the original FFVII on PS1 when my friend let me borrow it. i honestly had never played an RPG before, but i think the story and the music as well as the combat animations hooked me in. Now, i like to listen to the music especially the main theme.
Well for sure they will in the battle themes and such. But there was already guitar, it was just synthesized. I doubt they'd put guitar in something like the main theme.
Before this game, it was Zelda everything for me. This was the FF that got me into RPGs. Because of this game I have enjoyed many FF titles (VI and IX being my favorite!) I am very excited for the remake, and they should hire this guy to do the score if Nobuo doesn't come back!!
5:26 This part. Knowing that on the PS1 this played correctly in the Lifestream gives it more meaning. It's obvious that there's spoilers. This is where Sephiroth died but for me? I call this..... The Death of Cloud Strife. He actually died there. But luckily. Hojo saved him and he got to live.

If you buy this track, you can use it in the PC version of FF7, using ficedula's music-plugin. It is part of the amazing FF7 remastering project "Tifa's Bootleg". Look it up on Google, and choose the first link (QHIMM forum). It is a HUGE (customizable!!) fanmade patch, with everything from high resolution textures, models, a music-swapper (lets you select whatever music you want triggered, instead of the original MIDIs, or even pick the MIDIs if you prefer), updated sounds, different updated GUIs, sounds, just about everything. I do believe that ALL NPCs have had some sort of makeover, and of course the main cast have had their models severely updated, to the point where they are just beautiful! Did I mention upscaled and beautified cutscenes, and SO many (optional) bugfixes, and even the ability to remove the 9999-number limit, and the option to keep Aerith alive? :P

Could you do a remake of Chasing the black caped man? That one is incredible beautiful and could be amazing if done correctly. I think you can do it. Also if you could do Into the Darkness....that is my other all time favorite FF song.
Sean, awesome job! If you took the current music of the FF7 game, all you need to do is loop it where it is seemless when it repeats. I would be very interested in seeing your music while playing the game. There are current remakes and mods that you can use for the game. The qhimm.com site has posts about modding the game, etc. and you can get the music as well. I also know that Final FanTim made a remake using modern midi. Good job but I'd like to see better, IMHO... you're it.
it's pretty good, but you do miss the emphasis that Nobuo Uematsu put on parts of the original song. like after the middle where the main theme melody is repeated but in a different key; it's just too mellow here and not as bold as the original. kills the transition.
It seems that the newer sound libraries makes all the difference. Also, the arrangement worked out better, IMHO, in some of your tracks than Final FanTim's. This is of course no offense to Final FanTim, but I personally like more fluid tracks. If nothing else, I already have the soundtracks downloaded on my own PC. So if you need them, I can provide them.
no shit but when remake will come in 2025 part 1 i bet that this will still be better then what shit enix will do you captured the atmosphere so perfectly that is hard to imagine something that will sound better i mean no shit its really that good
I have listen to all your remasters and I will say this now u need to send that shit and march into square enix and beat them to make a hd version of ff7 with a shiney cd of your music on it so they can burn that shit onto the pc and put it into the game :)

I tryed using emuparadise before. Its it good for hand helds in my opinion. But full on console games are a little laggy on my computer. So its not the full on expierence with 10 frames gone. But it is really fun though.
BoomBa 35 man, your computer must be pretty bad to not run PSx games well... my sister's budget laptop managed to get PS2 games in a semi-playable state... Were you downloading the ISO files / PAK files or using the in-browser provided on the site? I couldn't believe that the browser mode works well at all...
