The best Game of all time FULLSTOP, SHOTGUN, PERIOD No other game has gripped me so intently to play it 200+ Hours Everything from the Stunning Graphics, Soundtrack, Gameplay, Characters and plot were better than perfect. No other game made can compare to this in terms of a complete package. It is the best FF of all time and also the only game EVER to make me have a tear in my eye and also feel sad that i had completed it, as i wanted it to go on forever. If you Haven't played this play it.
I dont know about most people i know final fantasy 7 was good but final fantasy x was the bomb it just was amazing to me, i cry at the end of the day lol i still play it since it came out i never get bored of it, i have a file for over 500 hours of play time haahh i never get tired of playing it
No, the song is Otherworld, composed by Nobuo Uematsu, specifically for the game. He's an AMAZING composer. The Black Mages have done a version of it, with a clearer sound and a female singer. Uematsu is the composer of all the music for every Final Fantasy through XII. He won't be working with them anymore in the future. He is also the keyboardist for The Black Mages, a group that does mostly rock and metal covers of Final Fantasy themes.
What an opening!! It has been a while since they've made a game that sucks you in like X.. This is the kinda opening that makes your jaw drop, pumps you up and lets you know you're in for some ride... Bring on Versus 13!!!
My top three are probably 10, 8, and 6. 10 is my favorite because the relationship between all of the characters was so well written in the story. Also, SIN! Definitely the most intimidating thing to ever be in Final Fantasy!
A bunch of people started a game of this after school when it came out, one of those "swap out whos playing while watching" things. Everyone else was cheering and saying this opening was awsome exc., I found it more symbolic and deep. So much symbolism and imagry to take in, but most people think "OMGZ THE CITY BLEW UP IT WAZ AWSUM"
One thing I wanted to do in final fantasy X was explore zanarkand a bit. The city looks so creative with all the water and stuff. Thanks for uploading =)
i have only played final fantasy 8 (and loved it) but im nervous about buying another final fantasy game because of voices. i loved just listening to the music and sound effects..... good memories
I remember seeing a trailer for FFX on tv when I was younger. It was pretty much this FMV up to the point where Tidus flips into the air. He sees Sin, stares in shock then the screen goes black and says 'You decide what happens next' The trailer doesn't seem to be on RU-vid.

The last classic Final Fantasy in my book XD! One hell of an amazing game, the first person narrative the story took up blended in well with all of the events that went on. Not to mention the battle system, the turn based not time reliant battle system was really fun, it really made me think of all the possible moves I could make in battle and how it would affect me in future! I love this game, of only square can re-invent the magic that made this so great, and put it into FFV when they do it.
So far this is my favorite FF game and I've been playing since Nintendo was invented. I haven't played after X2 so I don't know about the others. This was the most awesome opening by far.
-Hironobu Sakaguchi directed all final fantasy games up to 10 where he retired in 2001 after that Yoshinori Kitase took over. -Kazushige Nojima (partially or completely) wrote the stories for final fantasy 5-10-2(i like to think partialy for 10-2) left in 2003 and formed his own company. So ya probably the main reason. And i was just ranting about the number's, pay it no mind. But ya i doubt square gonna get any better just cause they (repeatedly) replaced yoshinori after 13 or so.
No, he's talking about the Pilgrimage: the whole storyline. If you play it, near the end you find out the true nature of the Pilgrimage... that a summoner has to give their life to create a calm. Yuna doesn't die, thats the whole point of the story, Tidus finding a way for her to live, while they still defeat Sin once and for all. The second version, where Yuna doesnt die, is X-2
i love the heavy metal song :3 usually i really dislike heavy metal songs but this is one of the very few exceptions :3 it's just so catchy and really fits in :)
I'm pretty sure that Nobuo wrote this song. But the song itself is performed by unknown musicians. But Nobuo has done another version of this song with the Black Mages. Try searching for it.
So many people get this wrong, it is NOT by Rammstein. The singer is Bill Muir from another band i do not the know name of. He sang the song created by Nobuo Uematsu ( Final Fantasy music composer). The Black Mages do a COVER of this song with a female singer.
I haven't played this game in years and I noticed that they were beginning to put PS2 games on PSN, so in hopes I looked up to see if they would ever put this on there only to find out that they square enix announced Final Fantasy X HD and that they are remastering it for PS3 and PS Vita. CANNOT WAIT!! My heart started racing the minute I watched the opening, I cannot.freaking.wait.
Still the best FF to date. This game had characters that actually mattered to you and scenes with real drama and depth to them. Sure, game play may have been repetitive at times. And random encounters kind of suck. But, as a whole, this game was off the charts when it came out. I guess that's why VII is also so popular.
Your right. Nobuo Uematsu wrote it (with a couple of other people) and Bill Muir did vocals. But Nobuo Uematsu also put together the Black Mages so that makes it more confusing. This isn't the Black Mages version.
Exactly my friend. Nobuo did another version of Otherworld with his band The black Mages, that one has a female singer who is singing it like a rock/pop song in stead of a Metalish song
got this game from a friend of my dad he told me i should hold on to it first look on the intro EPIC then i started playing but i dindt like it at all quited it gave it another try just to get used to it this game really made me emotional and more open to people lol best game ever :3
I dont understand how people could hate tidus, probably because he's way too cheerful and is considered a crybaby. He hardly cried in the game, there were like two scenes when he cries. The scene when the fayth told him he was crying, and the ending when he cries when he sees his dad after a long time.

Exactly. I cant pronouce the guys name who does the music for the final fantasy games but he did have input for this song too... as he wanted a music to fit the mood of the fm,v... of the blitzball game and of sin attacking
I always thought it was, being that Tidus can stay underwater at various points in the game and (i can't remember where exactly) someone in the game says that "Blitzball players have learned how to stay underwater for long periods of time.
