Final Fantasy X feels distinctly "Eastern" in a way many of the other most popular entries of the series don't. It has always had a sense of solemn beauty.

This was my first ps2 game. I liked it because of its what I believe to be its water theme. Also it was the best prequel to final fantasy vii.

The red and white attire these ladies wear is so pleasing to the eyes. I think red a more memorable colour wen considering spirits and energy

Thank you so much for adding subtitles. It's very much appreciated! There are a few mismatches with timing and differences between text and narration but it's still better than auto subtitles in my opinion. I haven't played FFX, but this was still very interesting to me. It's invoked in many other popular Japanese media, after all. I'll keep an eye out next time I'm watching Your Name and Higurashi No Naku Koro Ni.

I once watched a movie called memoirs of a geisha. Such a emotional and spiritual movie. The music from these shinto plays especially the drums are so powerful xo

It mirrors the exact evolution of dance in Japanese culture - from a religious and ritualistic tradition into something more secular and commonplace which then develops into very modern pop and rock idol culture. Someone who knows more about J Pop than I do could probably break it down really well.

Some of these stories remind me of a jojun ito horror story called the hanging balloons. This is both chilling and inspiring stuff muse its always a pleasure to learn new and old things. Cheers and thankyou so much
