This song is so incredibly sad. Really makes you think of the carefree past you've left behind, so much nostalgia.

It's so nice knowing that I'm not the only one who is in love with wandering flame... Since 15 years I listen to it at least once a day.. This version I like even better then the original one. Great work

Seriously one of the best pieces of music ever written for a game. FFX will always be my favourite FF, such memories and emotion. Hope everyone is doing fine during this very odd and sad time to be alive.

I guess this is a song that truly resonate with our loneliness, our hopelessness and the feeling of being really lost in a big hostile world. I'm usually very fond of talking about the stuff I like with my friends or family. But my feelings on this song, on what FFX made me live... I believe that nobody would really undestand... And that's maybe what that song is all about. "He walks amongst us but is not one of us"

I've always been a wondering flame, i wondered the streets, i wondered distance lands and dream landscapes. My flame has almost gone out, it barely stays alight at times. And just like the track, i still wonder, even as the strong winds try to blow me out. I am a wondering flame.

If my inner dialogue had a soundtrack. This track would be it. Since the moment I heard it, playing the original FFX when I was 16. Such nostalgia 😭😭😭😭. This track gets me everytime.

The older I get, the more I appreciate FFX and everything it tried to do. As a kid, I didn't really like the game much. In fact, I misunderstood the game to be an overtly melodramatic and cheesy JRPG and much preferred FFXII on the PS2. Now, I understand everything Square did with the game. Everything. It really is a special game, far more special than most games within the JRPG genre and outside of it. Wandering Flame has become a staple in my chill playlists, and this version will be added to it as well. Beautiful stuff.

I go to sleep to this track every night. It's always the last thing I want to hear in my day. No matter how sad I feel, this helps me try to be ok.

If sadness could be one song... I'd want it to be this. It feels like a cradling feeling, being somewhere comfortable enough to let it out, the breaks in the melody, sobs, the change in the calm, tears rolling down. The past looking you in your eyes, getting to see how much it made you care. There really is nothing like feeling safe enough to cry. I don't think I'd ever want to leave.

Easily the most powerful track in FFX.

Every piece of this... However you did it.. It really isolates the moments in FFX... BUT also.. The entire score of the original.. and whatever feelings it has given people, and for whatever reasons... It's just amazing, what you have done is amazing.

You've taken one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard and made it more beautiful. All I can think of is enjoying the outdoors when it's sunny, looking of into the distance and losing yourself in the moment.

Crazy to think that almost 20 years ago now, this was the song I fell asleep to on school nights at 7pm when I should have been doing homework. I would have FFX open all night on my PS2 with this playing....

This always calms me down... right now I'm broken because the love of my life wrote me, then visited me and I was so happy... I was happy because I thought finally he comes to my house visiting me and we can talk some more... we can talk maybe about our feelings.. All the years there was hope.. All the years I admired you the most... The hope that maybe you could feel the same was always present. We cooked together. I was happy. We talked I was in heaven. And then... Out of nothing you told me one thing that broke me heart into 1000 pieces.. Time slowed down " I found a girl I love, and she loves me too " the first thing that came in my mind was.. Could he.. Could he really mean me? But there was something inside me that knew it wasn't me.. It didn't feel like it would. " she lives in... " that was the moment, a big dark hole was piercing through my heart.

While I had played FFX in my childhood, (or atleast tried to), I never finished it and it became a very vivid memory of the PS2 era of video games. During the early or mid 2010s I was browsing through the numerous FF titles and listening to all the OSTs until I came across this. Wandering Flame would help me sleep a lot during those years, I would have the song endlessly on repeat as I drifted into unconciousness. Rediscovering this gem as I haven't heard it in such a long time feels great and, I guess, will be helping me sleep tonight once again. Thank you

It's amazing how much slowing a song down can make something either sound like a remix, or something else almost different. That said, this is very great. It's relaxing just like the original, maybe even more so. Still depressing though..Makes me think of all the things Tidus must have felt while going through that hellish journey, having to deal with the frustration of trying to come up with a plan to save Yuna's life, and not receiving any help from anyone else but Rikku in the process. ONLY to find out his whole journey and 'life' is about to be cut short, since he's going to disappear when everything is over.

Absolutely beautiful piece. FFX remains my favourite game of all time after all these years. The game is simply magical and I love to play it at least once a year. I think one of the reasons I love it so much is because it gives the most discreet middle finger to organised religion, which I have had some terrible personal experiences with. I think that’s why this game means so much to me.

FFX is so beautiful, amazing characters, world, story... the music added so much to the atmosphere. I really wish we can revisit Spira in another entry one day, whether it be X-3 or a full remake with modern graphics.
