They're one of the most feared enemies in the entire series for a reason. Up there with Malboros and Behemoths.

Wanderer's Palace Hard.

It threw me off at first because I thought I was going to fight them not protect them.

@@AzureZero20XX It is not weird if you paid attention to the story of The Wanderer's Palace. In normal mode you pretty much kill the Tonberry King, which was pretty much enslaving the others with the famous "Everybody's Grudge" thing the Tonberry have going for. After slaying the King, every other Tonberry regains their senses. The rest of the lore is part of the Scholar questline, so if you do that, you'll know what the Tonberry are.

@@Gameshunter92 oooh I see I see. I was confused by it but I went back to that dungeon after reading your comment and it makes sense. I don’t know if I’ll do that other job quest line though.
