i want to cry, i have an association with this song and my home town (Mariupol, Ukraine), now it is in ruins and i fled out of there as refugee. I realy realy want to come back...............
The bridge is a little too long, honestly. But that's the only flaw with Galdin Quay, at least in my opinion! (Love your videos man, you've really helped me develop as an artist. Keep up the awesome work!)
Man, this game was an experience I'll never forget. It was flawed for sure, no doubt about it and I totally get why some people didn't like it but for me this was a really fun game and I love the vibes it gave me as I played through it. It really felt like an adventure. From the more upbeat moments like here in Galdin Quay, to the more somber moments during the darker parts of the story, to the road trip vibes during the car rides, the game felt memorable all the time. The music added to the experience so much. It's my second favorite FF soundtrack after FFX.
@@BolognaDemon I'd say it's my second favorite FF game, with FF12 taking first place. If the game shipped with the royal edition content and the ultimately scrapped Dawn of the Future content, I think it would have more immediately been appreciated by most people.
@Goromi goreng fran never really talked to anyone except for balthier and sometimes in her long dialogues describing how strong the mist was in the area 😁
@@ThatOneGuy___ for real. i try not to use the fast travel too much because i just love the vibe of the guys kicking back in the car, cruising around, seeing the sights while listening to some tunes. Ive been playing through some of the early FF games recently, and i remember some of their soundtracks are in the game. cant wait for my next playthrought!
@@puppet_s_master Ive played a couple of hours of Witcher 3 but I didn’t have enough time to play games at that time but now I also currently reading Witcher books so I’m currently having the Witcher mood rn lol so yeah I’ll definitely play it again
man have you played FF 7?,10?,12? they have the best soundtracks than any other game iv ever played that captures the world so well. There's no developer that competes.
I can already feel how this is going to become one of those nostalgic tracks that makes you feel like you're in the game and want to play it again It's already nearly there and I only finished it a few months ago
Man I remember going ham on this game one summer. I just get super immersed in my games from start to finish and wow what a journey this was. Felt like I was part of the gang. Those chill moments when you weren't fighting and exploring like this were a treat
Right? Mine was summer of 2018. Honestly one of my more stress free summers. After taking on a dungeon just strolling through the beach or Altissia being a normal tourist 😂 sigh…fun times
I really loved the feel of having an outdoor meal with bros. Honestly it’s the only game I’ve played where I had that sensation. Very calming. Makes me smile every time.
I love this game. I even planed to get a pixel art tattoo of the 4 guys this June. I was literally 13 when I played it and now I'm almost 19. Dude, good memories with this game. Update: I got the tattoo. I have all of them on my right arm. :)
Final Fantasy games reguardless of the story being trash or treasure have some of THE BEST soundtracks EVER in videogames. The Orchestra is just so sublime and this little piece here is no exception. You really feel the sereine feeling of being in a restaurant that's in the ocean or lake. Truly a wonderful song to sooth and lay back to.
This game helped me to take the courage to trust myself and think that things can turn out better than you think. I'm currently sitting near the beach, days away from proposing to the girl of my dreams, I feel as if the best is yet to come.
I haven't played many FFs and this one was the first one I gave an actual try since it was on Game Pass at the time, at first the graphics looked Abit weird and since I hadn't played many RPGs at that point I had no idea what to do. I ended up dropping the game around 3 hours in when I was just walking around with starting gear and stuff. Some time later I gave it another try... and it was a magical experience, while the game does have it's flaws and it's def not the best FF game it's at least for me a good game, the characters and their interactions were so genuine and fun it really felt like I was there with them, making camp on the the middle of nowhere with the night sky above is such a memorable experience I hope to never forget nowhere. Definitely on my top 15 most memorable games I've ever played.
"I think I earned myself a drink." - party member dynamic dialog line as you enter the restaurant and walk in the direction of the bar at night after a day's worth of adventures One of my favorite memories...
FFXV is a flawed game that could have been much much better, we have to admit it. But this song and the whole Galdin Quay environment, man, this is a feast to the eyes and ears.
This was the only flawed, rushed, imperfect game that I ever fell so much in love with. I keep on wishing that things turned out differently cause it just had so much potential. But still, it was a fun joyride.
1.25x is better. It's like you're overseas like a Spanish country just vibing through one of their busiest supermarket. Never been there, but this is what I'd imagine.
This is a surprisingly difficult song to play on guitar. But totally worth learning. After a couple weeks of practice, I can finally play along with both the chords and the guitar solos. Feels great
The korean TV Series "Hometown Cha-cha-chat" Episode 3, has this theme song in it... My wife was watching the show on Netflix... and I heard that song, and I was like... "Wait a minute... that's from FFXV's Galdin Quay!"
This game had so much potential to be the greatest FF game, but they screwed it up at the end. Even so, I still found myself to be in love with the game.
Go back and play the royal edition. I thought it wasn’t a great story until a second playthrough. The story is actually very good and super deep. Look up some lore vids and you’ll be surprised
I can't say off the top of my head but in the same franchise "Costa del Sol" from FFVII ;) Check "relaxing jrpg music" here on YT. I go to sleep with some of those.
