I played the Pixel Remaster last year and would go so far to say it's my favorite of the pre-3D classics. FFVI certainly blows V out of the water in terms of storytelling, but V is hard to beat in terms of sheer enjoyability imo.
The two super bosses in the game are a diffrent kind of misery adamantois was a massive heath king literaly massive this thing has more defence than noct has plot armor
With the ring, you can spam Alterna with point warp strikes and make amadantoise disappear in about 5 - 15 min. Though I have taken down the adamantoise in a proper fight.
When I heard this part of of music, I instantly knew its final fantasy 5 music, since I played the GBA version not that long ago. Square Enix did a brilliant job remixing the battle theme and Rene/Lenna theme.
This arrangement literally made me not tired of doing the same thing over and over again against this thing. The musical call back hit the feels so good.
Legacy of the Luci was the only way to defeat this formidable foe for me, and i enjoyed it so much indeed. But for some reason my armiger bar was not totally depleated each time i used it. Nice music.
@@GhostWulf70792 about as much as all Gilgamesh are the same Gilgamesh, it's really lose about it. Also this Omega was specifically made by the ancients of FFXV and was used to challenge Ifrit thus earning humanity his ire.
@@GhostWulf70792 no, FFXV Gilgamesh and FFXV Omega are different. Gilgamesh from XV was Somnus's Shield and Omega is a Metal Gear, designed by the Soleheim civilization to terminate gods.
@@GhostWulf70792 Not all Omegas are the same. Omega from FFX, FFXII, XIV, XV, and FFXVI are all different entities that have absolutely nothing in common when it comes to their origins. The original Omega from FFV remains largely a mystery in terms of origin, while all five of those games have outright explained the origins of their version. Original Omega's most recent appearance, AFAIK, is in FFXIII-2, where the arena master describes it in the same way: a mysterious superweapon that came from the Rift.
I liked Deltascape more than Sigma, probably because I like FF5 more than 6. But boy I wish they'd remake some of the songs not just copy and paste them in.
When Soken isn't remixing music he does amazing songs. I want the next tier of omega to literally give Soken Free reign to make original music and not take the music sheet and update the instruments. Literally make the most over the top epic song possible for the final tier of Omega. even if its just the final fight.
Those bloody missiles. Could only dodge them all if I was in Armigier Unleashed or a Technique with a long animation. Wasted a lot of Phoenix Downs and Mega Phoenixes to find out, plus never got to do the Cross Chain sadly.
I can't help but notice you used Legacy of the Lucii far too much. The explosion at the end deals light damage, which HEALS Omega. Seriously, if you're reading this, DO NOT use Legacy of the Lucii. It will only drag out the fight. And here's a little tip: If you get hit by the timed insta-kill attack, then you can survive it if you've got I-frames when the insta-death timer runs out, so to speak. So if you're hit, spam warp-strikes like your life depends on it, because it probably does.
Legacy of the Lucii is viable if you have the right stats, as the overall damage of the technique will exceed the 2k that Omega will receive as healing (especially if done during vulnerability). But overall, using the Armiger combos offers better protection, while Dynastic Stance is great due to the sheer DPS and break potential it has.
Best use Thundaga spells and get Ignis to imbue Noctis's sword with lightning. I think the royal weapons helps as well, but risky cuz they use health up.
Noctis and his retinue be like: Isn't the theme remind you from FF5? Shimomura: yes it is. (Noct use his phone and calls Bartz) Noct: hey Bartz Bartz: yes? Noct: your robotick pet is in my realm. Can you help us already? Bartz: right where you are. (To his troupe) let's go girls. Lenna: ready when you are (whets her Excalibur, job change as a Knight and adjusts her hair.) Faris: let's kick Omega's arse!!! (To Lenna) but please don't break fourth wall. You'll get sued for that. Lenna: ehhhh!!!! But I'm not done fighting. Faris: your sword, Lenna. Your sword came from other franchise. Voice actor listings: Noctis = Tatsuhisa Suzuki Bartz = Souichirou Hoshi Lenna = Ayako Kawasumi Faris = Rie Tanaka
@@stupidkirbyfan6615 Seems like a dffoo Noct and Bartz: and please Lenna, stop breaking fourth wall. We know we were in FGO. (Bartz and Noct = Jason and Ashwhatever)
I beat Omega without Armiger Unleashed because I.. didn't have it? Like I was already way at the end so when I saw Insomnia as exploreable, I just went for it first, got the Ulric's daggers aaaaaand burned through almost all my items using regular royal arms attacks with Oracles trident and Sword of the Father. First try tho and I was regretting it for every single moment I got tapped by it's annoying legs. Still a fun battle tho, not sure if that metal piece was worth it at all tho
2 millenia ago solheim made omega agianst the gods. After ardyn has been trapped they sent it to the ff5 universe. It has travelled around the universes to get back home. Now it has arrived and is stronger than ever. It will wreck havoc to noctis and the gang
Omega isn't that hard. Took me about 45 minutes, but I did grind with 100 cactuars side fight over and over, hence why I was over levelled for most of the game. 😁
I'm too lazy to go through the main game again, even for the content they added, my save file was corrupted, im not going through the game 3 times again.
took me 2 using the strat in this vid except i use the last stand status effect aswell which boosts your attack tremendously but lowers your health to pretty much nothing so i used about 50 pheonix downs.
Is doing armiger unleashed with the proper set up and everything only going to do 1k per hit on this boss? That's what i keep running into. It's not enough damage to make a dent in omegas health.
@@dantecrailman8861 thank you, i did it within an hour, but I'm gonna try to see if i can speed that time up. I also have the rare metal now but I'm not sure if it's such a great idea to use it here because it debuffs health and defense a ton and i would just keep dying
What do you mean a clone like the others? The omegas in the other FF games are all the same entity, they're not clones. This one specifically is not the same as it was created in Solheim to be used against the gods.
You might even go as far as saying this was its original reality, and after the gods were defeated it left to find stronger opponents on other worlds via the void. It returned when the Gods’ chosen King of Light finally emerged
I'm glad she finally found what he was looking for though, even if it came about as a result of its demise. Although apparently there's hints that the OMG that follows Alpha around is Omega?
