After all these years, I still come back to listen to this masterpiece..

The game is 7 years old now and its still my favorite game ever. No matter what i could always load up another playthrough, and with this as the menu song just perfectly describes the sad narrative of the game and the ending. Masterpiece 🎉

So PERFECT and so Sad >>> After you beat the game and understand the fate of the characters and the sacrifice they have to do .. god this makes me cry

This game is pure meloncholy, so is the soundtrack one of the best in the franchise

This is perhaps one of my favorite songs. And honestly, I miss it whenever I go back to playing the game after beating it. It’s truly beautiful. But I really want is for the singer, Andrea Hopkins to do a live version of this. I need chills down my back

It's easy to do your duty as the "hero" if you know your going to win and have a happy ending. But what if you know doing your duty means saying goodbye to everyone you love and giving up everything. Would you still be able to be the hero and do your duty? That's what Noctis did and it's more beautiful than any FF story because of this. His sacrifice was the most heroic act you can make. This music embodies that emotion perfectly. To the haters... haven't you had more than enough stories where everything works out perfectly the way you hoped like a fairy tail? This story was way overdue.

This piece is SUCH a mood. I love that they all put such emotion in their instruments/art.

This better be played at my funeral or I’m not going.

people really should play the royal edition + all DLCs, it has it's flaws but for me it will forever be in my mind as a special game especially for soundtracks like this

Coming back to Somnus while playing FF16 which has an AMAZING soundtrack but no composition can make cry so fast as Somnus does 🥲 I will forever be aching for og versus 13 Noctis 🖤

Essa é a melhor música do jogo que tem a trilha sonora impecavel, porém deixa a desejar bastante na história, nada contra a mecânica dele, e de fato o ambiente que te traz com caracterização dos personagens e trilha sonora, é algo de outro mundo, se não fosse a história pouco aproveitada, seria uma obra prima.

the fact that its slower than the game version makes it so so much better

No one hate the idea it was but the game we get was empty short wasted an amazing dark trilogy maybe of open bloody world so sad i wish they will make it again and saying ff 15 was nothing but a vision the king had and thats how we can still have the dark noctis
