it's not powerful enough to do 4k/ 60fps yet... most ps5 games has performance mode, 4k still run at 30fps

The last of us part 1 remake does not use any pre rendered cutscenes. Everything in that game is real time as the real time visuals surpassed the pre rendered visuals of the 2013 original game. My source is digital foundries deep dive on the game.

@@louiskusters9452 omg LOL Joshua and clive look like puppets in the very beginning. @1:08 min. Like upgraded FF14 models.. same for her female party member and all. They look like FF14 MMORPG models And the facial expressions, too.. look at barret in the yuffie DLC FF7 intergrade.. there are worlds in between. Barret looks like a real human. If you are talking about random NPC in FF7, yes. FF16 models are *okay* but definately not PS5 level.

@@Coldsilfur4 you are comparing in game graphics to the CGI cutscene of FF7R... The in-game models of FF7R do not look better imo

Kind of reminds me how the Guardian Forces in Final Fantasy 8 seemed to consume or take place of some of the memories of Squall and company.

@@bardinblue9830 GF was introduced as summons that helps the protagonists, but draining their life force aka HP at the same time when equipped, a doubled edged function. Also, in regards to the summon Odin in VIII, it was shocking too, but I will speak no more, so others can enjoy the game someday.

@@pakyip9267 Indeed... Odin and Gilgamesh didn't function quite the same as the rest of the GF's. Plus there were special items to summon Moombas and a Chocobo Chick (I think) that weren't exactly available to those of us in the U.S. because we didn't have a certain PlayStation peripheral that was available in Japan and Europe.

But those items were available via GameShark.

@@bardinblue9830 Yeah the Chocobo mini game requires a separate hardware and sadly not in UK retailers, a friend of mine ordered one from online many years later... 😂

Looking at the combat and UI it is a mix of FF and Dragon Dogma and Maehiro states that Berserk is one of the influences of this game.

@@darthacez wow! I also thought it must be just a coincident but I was right about Berserk. FF7re's combat wasnt so good for me. I also like Fate: The cursed king battle system. using magic and item should be part of battle, not like choosing them like old rpg style. its good to select attack magic by L button and R button for cure magic and such and 〇 button to use the selected magic.

Yup CBU1 and CBU3 marketing are very different. CBU1 usually show a lot of character’s personality and eventually spoilers -take a look at CCR final trailer😶 - when it comes to CBU3 they keep things under wrap very well and they don’t usually give out spoilers in trailers. We just have to go open minded into the game.

They’re saving the characters’ depth for in game and later marketing starting around Feb/March. CBU3 is keen on putting spoilers in the trailers (unlike CBU1).

I have my concerns but not for the same reason you do. Mine are more so the fact that SE has shown us multiple trailers but why are they so aprehensive to reveal environments of these magestic cities and countries supposedly which are a part of this world, instead of just backdrops that look like like they are nothing more but wallpaper. I get the sence that this game is going to be a more linear action dungeon gauntlet run more so then anything else with a major point of telling the story through Cinematics, instead of a game that has the element of full exploration and being able to converse and talk to people in the different countries and learn there culture. I mean hell i did not even see a main character Shop for goods or inventory at a store for peat seakes. I think that alone tells me what the selling point of this game is.

@@Artimes. I feel you on that. FFX was very linear, but at least the areas had a story dedicated to them. I'm wondering how they will do this. Make it like Crisis Core, where it's one area that we have to clear, then head onto a story part, and then another area? Will it be like FFX, where we can run between areas? I get the feeling it won't be on the scale of FFXV. We shall see when the time comes.

@@ForsakenGaming666 I don't at all have an issue with Zone based games, infact abstractional based maps and zone area's really gives the illusion of a larger sence of scale then games with photo realism graphics, at least from my experience in 30 something years playing rpgs from the early 90's to now. Maps that are abstracted and pre-rendered are the core blueprint of the jrpg genre and even though FF XV opted for a more open world approach, you can see how the game was deffinitly restricted by its content and story due to it being designed around the idea of seamless tranvesibility Vs. interacted zone based. Games like FF VII, VIII and IX have immensly large worlds, multiple continents, ocean's and many environments to explore and you can say a game like FF X still has that scope to it but when you compare these worlds to the like of FF XV that is no more then a single continent you travel around, you can see my point. In any case, we will just have to see, but I DO NOT think its going to be like FF XV because if it was, there would be a greater emphesis on showcasing the many varried environments and so far the focus has mainly been on the action and gameplay and story cutscenes, so thats why I think the game is going to be some what more linear then that. If it took the approach of something like FF XII with very large expansive environments both in the terrian you travel and NPC hubs to explore but also all interconnected instead of open world or sandbox, i think that would be the best design choice to really exmplify the world based on its concept and lore. However, if its something like God of war that is more linear level based, then I probably would not enjoy that as much, to illustrate like a full FF world to scale. I just want a good story and a satisfying but large world to explore based on the themes and concept of the games scenerio.
